I've recently brought myself a pup with a healthy dose of Kerry blue terrier in it. Anybody else running dogs with this in the mix? What can I expect? Any good? Sire is supposed to be good and pups well put together and very feisty.14 points

I’ve been neglecting my fox control on the shoot recently, for a few reasons , one being that they don’t seem to be bothering the birds much , as the birds are able to look after themselves , and now and we’ve started shooting they tend to tidy up the injured or dead birds that the picking up team miss . The other reason is I’ve been busy with another night shooting adventure that I would love to share with you and I’ve had some very interesting and unusual outings , but alas they are not for a public forum . But last night I sat down and flicked through the TV channels, I look14 points

After 3 days of non stop rain eventually today was dry enough for a walk out with the pup. He seemed to be hunting a little better than last time and flushed a few for me. Hes taken an interest in the squirrels too , nose down and on a mission ? 4 pheasants for 4 shots today so pleased with that ? 1st shoot on Saturday looking forward to it.8 points

Who remembers years ago when the The Sun gave a monkey some paint and paper, they framed his daubs and set them up in a little gallery and then got a load of these poncy art critic types down there to review this fake “exciting new artist” lol They were coming out with all sorts of pretentious old bollocks.......then they told them it was a monkey ? lol I genuinely live for stuff like that ! Ok SD caller out at 75 yards on a big open field ( pheasant destress) and the wind at 6 mph taking the sound into the wood , the new secret bait out a hundred yards away from the caller in line with the wood , the digex is zeroed at 200 yards , so just point and shoot , I waited about a hour starting at 7.30 just to give them a chance to come out of The wood I spread the new bait out in a line of about 25 yards so I could have a coffee and fag kind of knowing that if one showed I have chance to finish my drink and fag any way it worked I’m sat in the truck just chilling and s8 points

I was gonna reply Max but I was going to say Paul Weller was writing great stuff when he was in his teens. No need for you to be so confrontational and bombastic in your posts. Basic manners really. Especially as in real life you wouldn't face up to anyone yet you always jump in from behind a keyboard. Cheers, D.8 points

At 22 years old i was driving a old Bedford truck towing my caravan without a single legality, going to festivals in hippy convoys and running a few police roadblocks along the way and it was fecking brilliant fun... ...7 points

I’m disappointed in hearing a Welshman say that Mate. When I was a younger lad , lived in a smallish town in the south. It was a long old drag hone for a lot of us so we used to stay there at weekends . There was a core four who did , and we became best mates over time with living and working together almost daily for four years . there was me from Cumbria a South African lad a cockney boy who just could t face the m25 ??? abd a Welsh lad from port talbot who would start drinking at 5 on a Friday and finish at 2 on a Monday ?? as we’d walk hone from a night out he’d6 points

That padlocks not seen much history. Unless I'm very much mistaken that is the Yale padmaster 3000 which started production in 2008 but was sadly discontinued in 2011 due to unforeseen tumbler problems.5 points

Here’s some subsonic porn especially for SD . I rang a mate of mine who is a gun smith/ Firearms dealer during lockdown and got some subs off him because the normal shops were shut . He sold me a load of the old Australian Winchester subsonics which were excellent. I was on My last box so I rang him up again to see if he had any more , he said he’d have a look . He rang me back to say he’d had a sort out and found some old odds and sods which I could have for nothing. There are some blasts from the past here . I’m going to have some fun with those yellow jackets.5 points

Don't listen to mushy ,he's too small to matter ..when you have experienced that feeling ( Nietzche called it Rausch )it doesn't matter if your looking at a work of art ,lists ing to music or walking in the woods ,you have no say in the matter ,subjectivity and taste don't come into it .4 points

I was working in Munich and driving round the city I came across an old cinema that still had a massive 3rd Reich Eagle carved Into each of the two columns that made up the facade of the building......that connects you directly with history imho, I love stuff like that3 points

Another ball ache of a job, bagging up feed wheat. My mates old man came out when I was doing it, telling me to go easy, the price has shot up, it’s 200 quid a ton that you know. I said I don’t want milling wheat, to which he replied that’s not milling wheat, you will just have to see when I put my bill in and off he went, laughing, the old bugger ?3 points

Mate you are a grown man if you think lockdown is shite just open the door and go out, we all have our own minds just use them, I respect people’s personal space in my normal day to day life and just carry on doing the same now, I stopped in for the first few weeks until I decided it was not that bad and have been going about my normal life since, I respect people that don’t want to meet or touch me and don’t try to change there mind, life is pretty normal in truth if you stop listening to everyone else’s opinions ??3 points
