  1. Had a wander up the fells this morning with Boots who seen his 8th birthday last week & my sidekick in life Ruby the Pomeranian who past her 14th birthday back on the 20th July earlier this year..it was just a walk out to reminisce of day's of yesteryear really as old Ruby now has cancer so her days of accompanying me out on the mountains unfortunately won't be for much longer, still today she went with her usual zest & one things for sure her fitness or lack of it would never be what finishes her, she's endless. Boots is nearing his retirement & for 18 months now he's joined us in t

  2. Good words from you guys..? I remember , back in the 1980's , writing a few words in a wee Journal, which I titled, "Lamping can be Dangerous". It had been a bad old season, and I just couldn't seem to stop losing dogs...? Life goes on,..as folk often say,..so bearing this in mind,.. I stuck to the hunting game for a few more years,..and predictably, lost a few more jukels... I don't think you ever become hardened to saying goodbye to genuine mates, whether, human or canine,..I fecking know I don't..? On my last ever lurcher now,....she is no great shakes and to be ho

  3. What a lovely day to go for a wander today , so decided to take the pup out for his 1st hunt in search of pheasants. Hes just 13 month and hasn't done anything yet so just let him do his thing. He started using his nose and when he found scent he would enter the cover , he flushed 8 pheasants today and I even managed to bag 1 .....missed a sitter later but just glad to be out just man and dog and enjoying the Autumn sunshine ???

  5. It's hard mate, but you have to do the right thing, knowing the exact time is very difficult. Ive had to put down three dogs since I came home; A Doberman that I owned in Saudi, and brought home with me. A Manchester Terrier that my daughter owned; born in the Ukraine, she got him given in Dubai, took him to Australia, brought him to the UK and I ended up with him. And a lurcher that was my constant companion for 15 years. All had a story to tell. Cheers.

  10. Was out 2 weeks ago with my bitch, 1st time ferreting for her, she malked a few and we caught a few, she was a bit of a disaster with the long nets but improved a little by the end of the session, the rabbits are scarce here though, all my old haunts are devoid of rabbits, so it's going to be a shitty season I reckon

  11. Just popped out to the farm where we had 3 the other week. Field is now turnips about 6 inches tall , so set caller out on a rut 40yds away and played cub call. After 5 mins the ruby eyes appeared in the corner of the field ? Came in nice and steady along the top of the field til it found the rut my caller was on , came down a little way and I lit it up at 100yds , bang , plop , vixen in the bag ?

  16. A stunning Mediterranean bird arrived on our shores at the weekend and i made the 200 mile round trip to see and photograph it, obviously off course, more than likely due to strong winds and a slight lack of coordination this beautiful bird ended up in West Yorkshire, feeding on grubs and mites at the grounds of a cricket club...

Yes but youve got your head so far buried up j corbyns ass that theres shite in your eyes, the bbc push poofery, LGBTRSTURBO agendas, have hidden and harboured pedos for years and payed them even, they have vegans and weirdo hippy fcukwits presenting nature programs and farming programs, they constantly push left to extremest left political parties,, so no the bbc is defo not right wing

  19. Politicians are the same today as they were back in the day. They hold no control regarding the decision making, only the guiding of the ship in the direction that their masters permit. Some are in on the script, the likes of your Blair's and Obama's , that now grace the chamber's of the UN. But most are generally sincere civil servants, the true believers of the system, your Mays and your Boris's. Clueless and useless to act on their own merit and merely follow orders through email. You can talk all day about this politician and that politician but these are just the middle men bet

  20. Don’t spread the manipulation mate ?.......they allow you to use gays in propaganda but they don’t allow you to make a gay joke? Using gay images to promote a negative view?........and there’s me thinking you wasn’t a bigot ?

  21. I've no love for Boris, but I think he's the best of a very bad bunch. At least he didn't roll over to the EU ! If May had got her way, we would have "BRINO", Brexit in name only, we would have been a vassal state, obeying all their rules, but with no say in the making of them ! The traitor Corbyn would sell us out to any country, never mind the EU ! He had over 30 years of voting against the EU, but changed his stance 180 degrees just to suit his tribal allegiances, f**k the rest of us ! And the LibDems ? They are the shit weasels who not only wanted us to stay in the EU,

  25. A mate who keepers the nearest shoot to me noticed a real drop in the number of foxes he shot this spring . He wracked his head about it and put it down to COVID 19 . There is a lay-by near his shoot with public toilets and is sheltered from view from the road . During lockdown it was taped off . So the local doggers and homo’s had nowhere to go also the foxes weren’t being dumped . He can’t wait for things to get back to normal. ??

  27. Why would gay men want to associate themselves with a so called “white supremacy” group and why would anyone want to help them associate with it. Nothing in the least bit passive aggressive about any of that.......what’s that? Make an innocent joke about gays ?......off to prison with you !

  29. See mate I believe (rightly or wrongly) this......none of these people are Left or Right.....they want us to think that. These people just “are”.......that’s the gift Blair gave them. Nobody is for you, nobody...... But, it’s our fault......what was it ? 12000 new laws under Blair alone ? !!! Nobody said a word......

  30. I getcha Stan but viewing from this side of the pond he's practically a socialist. It's confusing because if you listen to some on here, and read the media, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are radical leftists, but if you actually look at their voting records in their respective roles before they started running for the White House it reads like something that make Maggie look soft on crime, and anti-war. Even UKIP would be struggling for words prior to their implosion. Left? Right? They're all shite. They all want to make the state bigger and more powerful and whatever the rhetoric we all ha
