  2. If you knew every land owner, game keeper, and farmer in the uk and spend a lot of time on all that land which is impossible.then yes shout from the roof tops that big cats in the uk is a myth. You are a middle aged brick layer nothing more nothing less.and a self confessed grass by ringing the police. So In the big scheme of things you are feck all a nobody..excately the same as me..we are both feck all. Gm is enjoying his time looking researching etc.he is actually doing it in the field.. But you are on here trying to get lads to speak a certain way about this and that conc

  6. when I was a partridge keeper I used to do ten thousand a year and partridges are in and out the pen in about 12 hours, if you not on your game fox wise your stuffed, I am still on the same land with a few pheasants now, and possibly shoot 6 foxs a season and don't mind one or two about, the thing that pisses me off is the police giving tickets for foxing rifles to joe public with no keepering or farming interests, just for sport fox shooting is not a sport its a job, as for rabbits ive caught thousands ferreting and never whipped a place out yet. there are allot of holier than though people o

It’s funny I how said I see a puma on this thread and it was in 1985 and like I sai there was an adult his son and his sons mate with me,I was 15yrs old then so long before a mobile was even thought of so we stood no chance of a pic for anybody.I put it down to be in the right place at the right time but believe me if you do ever see one I can’t wait to see the replies on here for you.Like I’ve said there is people like yourself who won’t believe anybody on anything unless you have seen it.I couldn’t give a f**k if you believe me what we see and 4 people can’t get it wrong but that will be wit

  21. To be honest I think it would be an unfair comparison, their dogs are brought up in that climate, ours aren’t so would overheat a lot quicker. I think we’ve got the type we need in this country tbh the saluki blood was a revelation when it first happened but these days I don’t know what can be added by bringing one of them over. Their idea of coursing is worlds away from ours

  23. Just checked out some stubbles and nothing about due I think to the blistering heat. Anyway I thought I would go for a wander looking for vermin. As predicted nothing much about and I was totally goosed when I got back to the car. I did manage my 2nd squirrel of the year ? and a magpie so not a total waste of time.

  24. Very much depends on the night mate .You would think a fox would stand out easily but against a hedge background etc they blend in very well with NV Another thing is parallax .I don’t always have time to fiddle about with it as despite what appears to be acres of time could go tits up any second . The final thing is distance .Not much in that vid under 150 m despite the illusion of them being well under 100 . The clarity isn’t the best I’m well aware but it does me well enough .

  28. You never know whats out there. Forest Galante has found 2 animals that were thought extinct. He found a leopard in zanzibar which had been declared extinct for a couple of decades and a tortoise somewhere that hasnt been seen for 100 years. Im sure i seen he found evidence of a small hippo sub species somewhere aswell . Who knows , but greyman doesnt sound like a nutjob tho . Their are a few on here that do tho

  32. I try to be polite and helpful to people, but it’s quite surprising how many will turn down an offer of help or refuse to make eye contact with me because I look like I do, so it does work both ways, I stopped and changed a wheel for an old boy recently that had a puncture and was causing a bit of a jam, plenty of people beeping and shouting at him but no one would help and when I did he was terrified of me which is not nice, when I put his spare on for him he got his wallet out and started dropping money every were trying to pay me, as I said to him nights don’t always come along in shiny arm

  34. Thing with a dog you’ve got to put the ground work in. Rearing from 8 weeks old, feeding, exercise. Then you’ve got to condition it, put the miles in to find the runs to get it fit, then if you go for a big bag night and get it it’s an achievement, and nobodies doing that with dogs weekly or even fortnightly, the big bag nights 100+ are a few times a season at the most. These boys don’t have any skills at all they just buy themselves a rifle and a thermal then away they go, mass destruction of wildlife. It’s a sad state of affairs when men know more about rifles & optics than the anim

  35. Tbf to greyman he says hes seen one so is out looking for proof . I dont quite get what you mean the romance of it And as far as "experts" go anybody can claim to be a expert, and a few of them seem absolute nutters in their claims. But papers and online news will go to them for their headline because "500 big cats roaming the uk!!" Is better for clicks than "people examining tooth mark in skulls are continuing their research" And the UFO , ghosts comparisons are comical . Their is actually big cats in this world and everybody knows it . Theirs no question, its just their l

  38. I think manners is so important theres certain types of feeble individuals who see it as some kind of weakness to be courteous but its an absolute must for proper people....respect,now thats another thing entirely you cant go respecting everyone you see or you,ll get trampled over but i,ll be courteous to anyone i interact with or even pass in the street....respect has to be earned but courtesy and manners should be second nature.....especially if you're a big ugly looking ape like me or as Greyman said people just cross over and its double hard work just to strike up a conversation with a str

  39. I agree with above in principle in that you should appeal however as you want co-terminous tickets, do you already have a shotgun license, if so you may lose that if things went to court and you lost your appeal. The FEO is never going to be on your side now that his feathers are well and truely ruffled so I think you will find this to be an uphill fight. If you do fight it with BASC providing legal council, great but if not, you need to find a solicitor who has experience in firearms and demand to see the senior officer, I don't think you will get to see the cheif constable but who knows
