I don’t worry about guns not realising the effort I put in , as long as they get their hand in their pocket at the end of the day . It’s a bit different for me as it’s a job , If I moaned about them not realising what goes into putting a day on it would be a bit like a chef moaning about his customers not realising how much effort goes into cooking their meal which they just chopped up and shoved in their face . They pay for their day and they can think what they like . But for a diy syndicate like some of you boys run , there will always have the doers and the piss takers , it’s a problem as9 points

See this is the bit English people don’t get (and I’m not looking to get into a load of bollocks with you) but because we are f****d don’t mean everyone is. Ill give you an example..... They tried to bring in water charges here 5 years ago, you know, like our water rates in the UK. Well, everyone said “You can feck off, it falls out the sky for nothing and we ain’t paying” They tried the normal sending court summons to people and all that, they went to court in groups to support each other and still refused to pay......people were wiping their arse on the bills and posting6 points

Some of the descriptive terms used are thought provoking, I've always been a little puzzled re those who suggest their dogs "DO Teeth!" makes me wonder if said canine has a small dental practice as a side line?.5 points

A THL James Bond film, I'm getting Ken tearing along at the wheel of a semi vintage double decker bus mid fishing comp, katchum and co on the top deck ducking for cover as the roof is sheared off courtesy of the low bridge, hand lines and cider akimbo as dog fox tries to negotiate the skidding and sparking giant caterpillar looking roof shell in his dusty battered one wheel cover remaining merc with an overloaded back seat and boot of home made pad work DVDs5 points

Up at 5am sort me and the dogs out drive an hour and a half to the shoot check all pens change elect fence battery and test wires. Pick up dead birds( mostly killed by our friendly resident hooky beaks) and dump them in a stink pit ( to temped Charlie to visit) . top up feeders with pellets transfer water from well to storage tank and then to drinkers. Repair a few holes in the netting .sort out the quad as it packed in while taken repaired hoppers back to one of the drives . Something to eat then crop protection time with the 410 on woodies and jackdaws. Had to check one of the duck5 points

I am the opposite would love a keepers job as I realise it's not a job but a way of life. Sure it has its pressures and long hours but better than being stuck indoors with an office full of tossers .4 points

Wilf said .....”See this is the bit English people don’t get (and I’m not looking to get into a load of bollocks with you) but because we are f****d don’t mean everyone is.“ I honestly can’t see why nobody else can see where I’m coming from with the mosques . Ireland allowed them to be built with NO uprising . This act alone tells me the Irish are no different to us .The mosque is the Muslim statement to a western community that they are there to stay and f**k you all .We should have pulled every shit hole down they ever built , see if old Blighty was s3 points

Its those mobiles you can buy for 2 k, they all do bisness on?.. Loads of lads round by me been caught out... Taken everyone's cars and toys, turned over multiple properties etc, Apparently the guy sorting them out, gave the decoding software to the feds? Boys pulled in from Wales to Liverpool, Amsterdam to South America... Few lads I know are on a conspiracy charge along with 100 + more gents? Crazy coin to be made, but is it really worth the risk in the long run?3 points

I just think you are viewing things through the same romantic eyes thousands upon thousands of others have viewed things and i am yet to see any group or nation conquer political correctness and all it entails.....but as ive said many times before i genuinely hope you are right and im wrong3 points

It’s not all about lights mate, they are popping up everywhere because they can sell a bag of compost for £25 and a gallon of plant food for £200, if your going to do it get in quick before the bubble bursts and everyone jumps on it or realises that half the gear is empra ,s cloths and you can buy better for less in the garden centre ??3 points

Don't the pedigree whippet racing club DNA test any whippet suspected of having greyhound blood in it ? Ive no faith in dog DNA testing as different company's have different methods. Some have a data base of around 300 "breeds", but whose to say what was actually in the "breeds" that tested. Cheers.3 points

I’m not going to presume to tell you what you should be thinking about the state of your own country mate, all I will say is that you have eyes on it early by the sound of it and that can only be a good thing.3 points

Most people who just turn up on shoot days have absolutely no idea of the amount of work that is required to run a decent shoot. I have been up to ours today as i do every Sunday just having a look around to see what needs doing before the birds come. We where walking down the side of a small spinney when out popped Charlie at the end. I will need to go back this week to see if i can sort that out.3 points

In my very limited experience the trouble with us English is that we firmly believe everywhere is like England........and, it isn’t ! We have this perverse idea that because we are swallowing shit by the truck load it must mean everyone is doing it.....and it’s simply not true I’m sorry to inform you. The old chestnut is “same everywhere” but it isn’t......nowhere close.3 points

Worked a few pures, nice staying track bitch will throw decent lurchers if bred to the right dog and iron out a few kinks in a not so good one. Even a smallish one will still have all the size needed.3 points
