Went out this evening with my mate stalking and decided to take my 10 month old pup out to see how he behaved. We settled into our usual spot watching the wood edge but the pup wouldnt settle wanting to play but I persevered with him. Eventually 2 bucks and a doe emerged , 1 buck and doe disappeared back into the wood leaving the other buck to disappear into a ditch unsighted. Eventually he came out about 100 yds away but started trotting across the field, I had to shout at him 3 times before he stopped and my mate shot him , perfect lung shot ran 20 yards and dropped ? Let the pup off to fin

Got this dog been part of the team this season, it’s my brother in laws but he has been stuck in Thailand for 14 months and not long got back. I wanted to get him started for him last season and show him a few bits, but with my young dog having his first season at it and my older dog in his should be prime it was hard so he literally did only get out two or three night s and a couple of daytime mooches .He seems keen and been shown a couple of things by the others but this will be his first season. No we don't own it. But we do pay for it, one of the highest water charges if not the highest so the water quality of beaches is good and so you can drink and bath in water. High community charges so the litter that left all over the beaches can be picked up and toilets can be supplied and cleaned. But I don't mind people coming down. I have had a lot of 4x4s but admittedly my SJ410 with suspension over axle conversion drain pipe snorkel and plug holes to let the water out meant it went any where it was my main transport following and assisting on a hunt, when I used to rock up people were like how on earth did you get here great little motors I had a Vitara as well very good motors but not a patch on the SJ for character.
