  2. Keep your circle tight and your dogs tight and hear say wont enter the equation. You wouldn't need to rely on it.Theres probably 2 or 3 fellas in the country who's word I would take for gospel no questions asked. If they said a dog was doing it then that dog was doing the business. My dogs go back to some of the fore mentioned dogs and are now throwing a greater number of workers than ever before but believe me I've bred some useless dogs too some of which would really have you scratching your head but every one does. Sometimes the mating just doesn't click even within a line. Just cut that b

  5. gibbo I just put down two months ago my 14 year old Greyhound bitch who was still catching bunnies and squirrels a year ago. Me and most of my extended family have always had Lurchers and Terriers ,so when my 3/4 Greyhound Collie died I thought I would try a pure bred Greyhound. I thought if I bring it up with Lurchers and Terriers ,I would be able to train her just like a Lurcher I accepted it wouldn't be the brightest but I didn't need a dog that could read just catch stuff and bring it back to me. Catch stuff she did, she also surprised me how good a nose she had, ne

  9. We should go back to making quality and make the best instead of trying to make the cheapest. Every body wants the best they can afford there will aways be a demand for quality this country should concentrate on that. Blair let companies take their production over to Shenzhen in China and put people out of work here. I worked in a factory were 6000 people were dumped the Government should have made it more difficult for firms to do that. Fine them or put some levy on them or something. The Chinese have probably copied the product by now anyway.

Some people stockpile food and bog roll , my misses stockpiles dresses, or “options” as she refers to them . Unfortunstely for her my bank account is currently in self isolation

  21. Just been for my Dailey allocated hours walk and managed to bag this off the local railway underpass, also came to an interesting conclusion regarding squirrels, every time a sunny day occurs during winter I can go out and almost guarantee a squirrel or two, yet since this period of sunny weather have been out looking most days and have not even seen one let alone shoot one, my dogs are pretty hot on them as well and will point them out if they are up trees or flush them if they are in scrub so it’s not me missing them they just aren’t there, the other consistent thing since the sun came out

  22. Agreed .. I don't watch the news.....Good job ?Bad enough it's got the mrs gripped.... And she's slowly doing my head in with it all?plenty to be getting on with to keep busy and stay positive.... Gone back to the old family unit of yesteryear, meals around the table, no devices, life's slowing down, no rush.... Has its plus points, I don't think things will go back to how they were, there will be changes and new agenda's ?

  26. No idea. It has taken a rabbit or two. 177. Sorry, make wise it says SMK on it but yes probably out the same factory as the Lion brand. Tuning wise yes, well as much as possible. It is a lousy design and small. Very noisy and any spring lube induces dieseling in no time. No room for a piston sleeve other than using very thin shim stock which I don't have and aren't that fussed anyway. The biggest improvement I did was the trigger, now it only needs a Landover pulling on the trigger blade as opposed to a New Holland !

  29. Bred a couple of first crosses years ago, no problem getting full hounds bitches then and worked them to see what they were made of , kept an odd one around put them on anything worth running but found them lacking in most departments, f***ing air heads , if the action was 100 yards in front they’d have spotted a leaf blowing 50 yards behind and be hot on its ass ?, you don’t need a working grey to breed pups that work if the dog is a right one , I only ever saw them as vessel for breeding, cost nothing and had the basic frame for running put it this way I always associate pure bre

  30. well i do know a bit about them, as i worked at racing kennels for nearly 6 months . i used help feed them, clean there kennels , and walk them, the bloke had at one time 52 greyhounds . like been said on here, if from a 9 week old pup - 12 months old , you can steady them down a bit true. but they deff got a switch in there head , and it will go off , once there in full flight running quarry down. they wont hold back when behind live game , ok if you took them coursing on hares regular, they could learn maybe hold back a bit, but in my mind if lamping they could get killed easy , hitting

  34. it's been going on for a long time now breeding for colours ect pets4homes and gumtree was flooded with them and blue ones selling for more people breeding just to get blues, I'm gonna be very honest I dont think there worth the price tag as a pup, it's the hours training in them that adds value (been sold 6m/1yr) but going picking out a 8 week old pup paying 1,000+ I think is over priced but that's the market price for a well bred one. It's about the money not the dogs anymore worse thing that could of happened was that Mali going on the mission to kill osama bin laden with the navy seal

  36. Not to sure, we can go out for a walk for exercise or to work if we have an essential job and other essential journeys, shopping, bank or doctors, lots of plod out stopping folk and asking them why they are out and dishing out £30 on the spot fines if you don’t have a good reason, my problem is I,m not allowed to drive to take the dogs out yet I am going to a farm and doing my walking in total isolation but I am allowed to walk them round the local park with Everyman and his dog also doing the same thing, ??

Especially watching the cities on the news and Muppets heading for beauty spots. Anyway. Got these pictures. What the latest jibba jabba on snaring? They are killing chickens.

  44. It only takes a generation or two for a people to loose their traditions and culture. It's not the colour of a person's skin, as much as it is some cultures shouldn't and can't mix. When you do, or it's forced upon you, your history and future is wiped, and can't be brought back. And let's be honest here, some of these cultural traditions coming into Europe are down right barbaric, the way they treat women and kids. No value on human life what so ever. Also the sheer disrespect, and disregard they have for the country and its people that took them in is sicking. Mix rac
