  2. Jesus lol. There are times to harden your heart. This really isnt one of them. There will be plenty of essentials to go round. I'm in no way charitable in normal times but I'd gladly do my bit to help vulnerable people and offer my services if required. Even if it's just delivering food packages or whatever. The people who stoop to looting other struggling families or vulnerable members of society, along with the sorts of people who bulk buy nappies and sell them at inflated prices should have serious repercussions.

  8. Making silage last summer bolted a fox with a serious limp, henceforth to be known as Peg. Spent couple early morning on aftermath decoying crows and saw Peg again but no chance of any shot. No sign of Peg since then so thought she succumbed to her injured foot. Until two weeks ago she showed up on one of my trail cams near where grey partridge nested (and failed) last year. Both times on cam it was between 04:40 - 05:30 This is a very flat field with no real backstop but some hedges so I decided to try tuck up in a hedge this morning before 430am. Semi loaded with 36g buffalo BB.

  9. Probably loads, all I am trying to get across is some dogs in my limited experience have not run things 100% for lots of different reasons and I wouldn’t write them off, but lots of people would. In an earlier post I said a young inexperienced dog should have no issue working and giving 100%.When a dog gets past a certain age that has been worked and experienced different things then surely some allowances should be made. The dogs I’ve owned and seen after around 4/5 years old changed there approach to work. A lot of people would move the dog on and start again which is there decision. At the

  13. A couple made a deal that whoever died first would come back and inform the other if there was sex after death.Their biggest fear was that there was no after-life at all. After a long life together, the husband was the first to die.True to his word, he made the first contact: "Sue..........Sue" "Is that you, George?" " Yes, I've come back like we agreed. ""That's wonderful !? What's it like? "" Well, I get up in the morning, I have sex. I have breakfast and then it's off to the golf course. I have sex again, bathe in the warm sun and then have sex a couple of more times. Then I have lunch (you'

  21. Don't think people realise , symptoms generally go away in 1 to 2 weeks if your a fit healthy person.. some people don't get the virus .. there will be people to carry on doing the work . FFS if your that worried about food shortages get out and grow your own , plenty of veg can be grown in containers if you haven't got a garden ..

  22. I tend to agree that as a virus this isn't a particulary lethal/fatal one in the percentage killed per 1000 infected....I get that... But it is spreading so quickly, that you either risk infecting everyone and taking the chance on who survives...Russian roulette style....or you take tough measure to try and control the spread ease the immediate and imminent burden on the NHS and protect the vulnerable in our society...it does make me wonder when reading around different sources the way people see it as a bit of a "cull"...almost get it over with and those that die are collateral damage...

  33. Think we will have to wait and see how this one pans out, but as an old sceptic I,m suspecting this is far more economic than welfare based, it’s like there is a concerted effort to collapse the global economy going on hidden behind a virus that we are all going to get anyway and many of us may have already had ???

  35. Isolating here my boy sent home from school with cough, Mrs is working from home. Mother in-law has shut herself away I rigged up a camping fridge kettle and double burner so she can separate from us. No work for me for 14 days which sucks as I'm self employed. So will not be buying those century carp rods just yet. Going to keep kids grafting in garden, make a veg patch same as others.

  43. Would it make you happier if I agreed? LOL. The measures we're going to as a society to combat this are unprecedented. But it ain't leaving a noticeable dent in the population, it ain't nature wiping us out or the end of society. I'm still far more concerned for the economy than lives. Let's be grounded, this new strategy has no objective other than hope it goes away or a vaccine is developed so yes, life is going to change for a while and it will have to change even more if folks aren't making an effort. Words like dark and deep and serious cunjur up thoughts of people dying all around

  45. Woman on t.v. jist said there's different forms of it (strains) and 3 weeks intensive care for the worst strain. If that's the case and people can get thay intensive care.there will be civil unrest. 1 thing I would say is that all the healthcare workers and nhs staff who are stepping upto the plate.should have there wages upped big time after this. They are the real heroes in all this. I take my hat off to them all..
