Back in the Autumn I was telling you guys and the rest of the world how I had become a Grandfather after waiting ten years and thinking it would never happen. Well in the Autumn I was foraging Walnuts and had the bright idea I would like to grow one for the Granddaughter, so I went about it. Put some Walnuts in damp sand and peat in the fridge in a plastic box then about Christmas wifey was giving me grief about that. So took them up the green house and some where showing signs of germinating so transplanted then into pots. Well chuff to hell some are now up, this one being the one furtherest10 points

f**k sake. He's a kid with a whippet and an interest in legal terrier work. Just answer his question or don't, what's the point of the kangaroo court? If any of you were as careful and paranoid as you like to make out you wouldn't even be on here.7 points

He follows his local packs, in a stalker kind of way. His face won’t be known to the terrier lads as there’s a balaclava in the way, he can’t read up on any laws as they don’t apply to antis it seems as well as that he can’t read when constantly screaming like a girl in a hysterical high pitch words of ahhhhhhhhhh and murrrrrderrrrr.6 points

So I'm away for 3 months in the Falklands. Never heard of anyone fishing here and when I mentioned to arry of here about it, he told me about the sea trout fishing here. Sent me a few links and I looked into it. Got my trusty 16 quid ngt telescopic travel rod I've had 10 years, and a box of tobys and spinners. Initially thought I had to pay a fee but the permits are now part of.l my jobs welfare package so no reason not to go. My and my mate popped up to the location of one stretch named the frying pan. We blanked the first 2 trips, and It was looking at the ground I realised the river w3 points

My pals son had all the locks upgraded on his van after losing all his tools , three months later he lost another lot when the took the side panel out of the van with a battery operated metal cutter .Not only lost the tools but wrecked the van , he unloads the van every night of anything of value .Hopefully anyone buying stolen tools will reap what they sow , there as bad as the thieves .3 points

It’s a great gesture Arry, and one I have been on the receiving end of, my old gramps planted a walnut for both me and my brother, sadly one died, ( i still have the trunk drying in the shed) but the other still grows strong to this day. my gramps died when I was still fairly young, but I remember him most every day I see that tree. I have also been planting a few trees about the place, mainly oak and ash, but you have me thinking about some walnuts now, how easy dd you find it to do, and what’s the idea of putting them in the fridge2 points

Will I ever see it mate I don't think so, Maybe have to sow some spores as well Lol. Recon I won't be around to see her grow up unfortunately its happen all a bit late for me. So I thought she might get a bit curious about her old granddad who thought to sow a walnut when she was born and plant it so she can see it grow, who knows. Perhaps I'm just a old romantic who would like to be remembered. Cant do any harm can it but we have to be realistic nobody lives for ever. Cheers Arry2 points

Spent some time there in the early 90s. Couldn’t do much over the winter but we did a spot of fishing over the summer. Sea trout and lots of mullet from what I can remember. Good place to be. Make the most of your time over there.2 points

I used to own a four track fieldman 2.8 was the best 4x4 I’ve owned and would pull an house down if I asked but then I bought my present 4x4 a Land Cruiser and I’m in love I would never own anything else. Just too add £8000 is silly money you could get two mint ones for that or a really nice Land Cruiser.2 points

A good terrier in most eyes will hold his ground no matter what and will have to take what's coming to him if he is to hold his quarry for his master until he get to him no matter it be 10min or 10 hours, so baying alone won't work as macho as it sounds it's what should be expected in a terrier it's what there bred to do. I never owned a bolter so I can only assume that a bolter lacks that ability and heart but can be blessing in disguise for guys who work rock. I'd hope terriers are bred to stay till dug to and not to bolt as this surely is a no no.2 points

That would do my nut if I wanted a dog for mooching an running stuff but ended up having to take a shovel everywhere I went because the fecker was dropping to ground the idea of owning a running dog for running stuff an the thought of having to use my little arms to shift dirt don’t sound to appealing to me if it did I’d own a terrier id rather you than me2 points

Funny thing is there lads out there with beddy whippets trying get to ground on fox and most beddy owners struggle get them to ground at all lol who new the answer to the problem of digging beddys would be ad a bit whippet ?2 points

Horses for courses, I wouldn't enter a digging dog in a place like that because 1st it can't be dug and 2nd I'd end up without a dog, but if I had a dog that would only do say half an hour and then appear back out or if I kept one that could be called out then I wouldn't have a problem with such a place but thankfully we have none like it about me, like I said horses for courses and a lot of foxes can be got with a 10 minute wonder dog,I remember a little Russell a friend had years back that would go in do 10min and out, then it was a case of sitting quiet for a few minutes and almost every t2 points

There used to be a guy on here from Chile or Argentina I think. He looked like he was getting some good hunting using running dogs and dogos on a range of quarry. I think he was chased off here by people who thought they knew more about hunting in his country than he did. Shame really.2 points

You see all these programmes on the telly mate and everyone is ticking along, up to their elbows building things out of rock with their bare hands etc etc.......my experience has not been like that I can tell you now ! Lol ? I have just messed along making loads of f**k ups, trying this, trying that and my only goal was that we could feed ourselves with our own meat and we have....so that’s good. I also wanted to have a place where my kids could build a home mortgage free and they can do that too if they want because there is enough space for them to have a couple of acres each, so2 points

Thought it'd be your clean muzzled bayer mixers that he'd be after, but good to see your still the prick you always have been as you ain't been about much lately....
