Bull greyhound dog from good lines. 27" 35kg. Doing everything you would expect from a dog that you would want to breed from and does it with a smile, 110 %. May be interested in a pup from him to the right bitch.9 points

So who's in charge now, is Leo out? The Irish language should be taught in schools, it's the native tongue after all, an it's no way dying out, there's a couple of good Irish schools in my area that have sprung up in last few years, actually one round corner from my house now, wee primary school all Irish. The Irish language is for the Irish, doesn't matter if its no good anywhere else, it doesn't have to be, its for Ireland. Someone said about no Internet connection, an no work etc Id go bk to having no Internet, mobile all that stuff, I don't even watch TV unless I'm i7 points

I'll put it this way. My families name goes back to 1014 in this country, and I'm sure they spoke irish, and I'm not willing to let it die with me. My 7 week old granddaughter is spoken to in irish every day, and it will be her first language as well Atb j5 points

I'm all for making peace after a falling out ...but sometimes things go too far ,things are said that are unforgivable and give a window into someone's mind set .5 points

Lets have it right the immigrants coming here are the wealthiest people in their communities.....the genuine hard luck cases cannot even attempt to migrate either for health or financial reasons.....if these races of people had any pride whatsoever the better off members of their societies would stick in and try to make change in their own countries.....its all well and good blaming our government and politicians but at some point you have to blame the people themselves they are the most disloyal uncaring no pride shitbags out there .....and we're supposed to feel sorry for them !5 points

Youngster ,I argued and fell out with a few on here ,but would have no problem having a pint and a friendly chat with them ,,occasionally though someone crosses a line and there is no way I could meet them in the spirit of forgiveness and friendship . Any meetings I have with these people would be confrontational ,because when this ugly old man looks in the mirror he sees a man with many flaws ,but cowardice isn't one of them .4 points

I would just like to give my old bitch a mention. This bitch earned her keep everyday for me for the past 11 + years I had the pleasure of working her. She never really put a thing wrong and always give her best. She had one of the best noses I have seen and It’ll take some dog to replace her. I can honestly say that I’m going to miss this bitch and I’ll be a happy man if I ever get anything else as half as good as she was. RIP old lass.4 points

I'm a sucker for autos. No correction, I'm a sucker for anything that shoots but automatic shotguns have been a lifelong affliction. It's a love affair that always turns sour and the bigger my belly gets the quicker it turns sour! You know where this is going....yes, searching for bloody empties that have been thrown anything up to ten feet away! I can't ignor them and whilst I search another birds sails over ?. So a divorce was needed and in court (the local toy store) a deal was struck on a few o/u's. I'm not a wealthy man and I was very limited in choice. A classic doubles came v3 points

I hope they don’t mate, one thing Ireland could certainly teach the UK is how to embrace and cherish its culture. Flags flying outside the schools, history of its nation and its language. No greater thing for a people to learn3 points

It’s only a northern flag, doesn’t mean I hate the Irish nationalists either or the Republic of Ireland as I don’t, I see myself as northern Irish British3 points

They are more interested in cracking jokes then to learn about the differences in the terrier work on this side of the pond several Americans on here have not made it easy for them to listen as they are full of drama... which is unfortunate because the future of the dogs is here with the laws being the way they are over there. They are not familiar with our earth sizes or the use of the dogs in root systems on the creeks or any of that. They don’t understand their dogs can not do at least 1/2 of the work that is required this side of the pond So focused on claiming theirs to be the3 points

To a fair, most English Sunday football teams could take on the French army and win ! Lol3 points

I'm not sideing with them either. I don't believe in their policies. They can't work imo. These people can't sort out a little country like this, never mind what the UK is up too. They should keep close to the UK as a trading partner. Atb j3 points

I’ve seen a stag pretty close and they make a 28” bull cross look like a beddy whippet ? no chance id slip on stag not worth losing a dog over , not when you could just run them over in 4x4 ?3 points

Done Jerky in a dehydrator. Used Beef marinated skirt with loads of black pepper. Came out pretty much the same as the stuff you can buy. I tried Venison it was okay but a lot tougher think I need a better cut of meat to try that again. Cheers Arry3 points

I try to do some every summer. Well, jerky. Got this cold smoker and then I finish drying on a netted wrack in the sun/fresh air. I tend to use a sauce based marinade rather than salt as well.3 points

There's a big difference between a small puppy and a true runt. True runts are wonky from the start: classic traits are bulging eyes at birth (yes, I know the eyes aren't open but you can still see how the lids bulge out), domed forehead, underdeveloped generally and lacking the instinct to suckle properly. And yes, I've seen the smallest puppy end up the biggest as an adult, and in those cases the pup was small because of where it developed in the uterus and it didn't have much room but made up for it afterwards, and was strong at birth and able to suckle and fight for its teat. Well, I have just read what you and Gnasher have written and I respect your sentiment.......but I can genuinely say I would have no interest in meeting or exchanging breathing space with a bloke like that, f**k im. I don’t want to spend a second of my life in the company of a bloke like that.3 points

Ummmm I believe if you look ...... it was me who started this party. You lot go round and round and round, same shit over and over, you’re not getting anywhere and no one cares. Insanity - doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results. But you guys are doing a real great job of emulating the wider great British terrier scene - a little bit of dog work, lots of internet talk, a good smattering of lying, cheating, dog peddling, dog theft, bull shit, bickering and general nonsense. You got it nailed guys.3 points

Thats a fair point....i dont normally go in for all this meet up and be friends caper but where Max is concerned if he intends to continue coming on here it wouldnt be a bad idea to put some of this shit to bed . Far as im concerned common courtesy never loses its value so act like a gentleman and im sure we,ll have a natter and a leg pull like normal people do.......but cop the attitude you do with me on here and we,ll see where it takes us.......what you say squire fancy it ?3 points

I had one early 90s and it was a monster,do numbers of fox no bother and took everything else. No matter how crap the night he was one of those dogs that would always get something. Whatever was at the end of the beam he was having it.One of those once in a lifetime dogs,I bred him a few times but he never threw anything like himself unfortunately . I would think the hard part now is finding a pure Bedlington from proper working stuff to breed from2 points
