  7. My dream holiday would have to include winning one of those gonks on the two penny falls at skeggy, over the years I've probably spent over twenty seven quid but all I have to show for it is a scooby doo pin badge and a red plastic kazoo. I know it's a mugs game and you can buy them for 69p at the gift shop down chip shop alley but where's the fun in that. This year I intend to stick to one machine instead of squandering 2p's willy nilly.

  8. He’s not doing anything illegal , if he was plod would have given him more than words , just because plod and the council don’t like it doesn’t mean he can’t do it . The trouble with not being confrontational is the powers that be will keep chipping away at your freedom to do anything . He’s not forcing them to go , it’s weekends so not school days why the fcuk should he stop .I thought this country was run on the basis you can do what you want as long as it’s not been classed as illegal , not you can do anything as long as it’s deemed legal ..can’t take kids out after 9pm ? Says who ? P

  9. Whats the difference in taking a kid fishing all night, lamping or even camping, it's bollocks. The only difference is killing rats. Thats it the snow flake left wing vegan whole nut red haired dykes Social Services that could not protect the girls in places like Rotherham don't like it.Thank christ the Labour Party are not in power or we might all have to be in bed by 9pm. Is 9pm late? It's still day light at 11pm mid summer. What they hate is somebody is getting a bit of fun killing rats thats what gets under their skin. Cheers Arry

  11. well after 2-3 years thinking about it i bought a 2nd hand sako quad on friday and put my hawke sidewinder 6.5-20x42 on it.have to thank glos firearms for the best service ever, variation was done in 3.5 days.the sako is for sure a step up from a lr and a better gun than my weatherby which is basically a anschutz.not had much time with it but have put 190 rounds through it over the weekend and it does not like cci 30g hp,s but does like hornady 30gv-max only downside is ammo is about £16 a box.finally got the little rifle shooting well today after a little testing and at 50m put in a fairly goo

  13. Daniel hi. My apologies for the delay in catching up as I've been out of circulation with a health issue these last months. And thank you to Phil, Bigmac and Mark and all the lads who say such kind things about my Springer shooting. It's a skill that has taken almost my lifetime to master to a high standard. But the skills are not beyond you capabilities if you are prepared to work hard with practice of a few sound principles that are tried and tested and proven to work. Well I had a Webley Excocet .22 a fair number of years ago. It was an accurate little rifle with Eley Wasps and I had

  14. Less than a week to go so lets have a round up of the current situation. Indyref2; Ain't going to happen. Boris needs to keep Scotland on board as they have lots of fisheries and that is a key bargaining point at the moment. Blackford hints at getting EU support to force this through. No chance! The EU will never officially support Scottish independence as that would be hypocritical towards the Basques Separatists and the failed independence referendum in Catalonia where some Catalonian politicians have been jailed and one is hiding out in would you believe, Scotland despite official requ

  17. There is nothing illegal about taking your kids out ratting in the evening ..who said his kids have to be in bed at the weekends by 9pm ..Or in the week come to that , I really can’t see why social services have a need to stick there oar in when there is clearly no need , given some social services recent history with regard to looking after children on the at risk list I would think they would be in far more danger being in council care ..I would rather my kids out doing something they like rather than have there minds polluted with shit video games that teach you nothing with respect to viol

  18. Had an hour free so I got the shotgun out of the cabinet as quiet as I could and got ready.... Got busted by the eldest and youngest lad. So I got the. 410 out aswell, grabbed the dog and off we went for a bit of squirrel bashing. After that bumped into an old friend in the field and had a nice chat.

  19. I had been tempted to get one in the past . A mate has a 410 moderated which we use in our terrier work for dispatch at the end of a dig . I have also thought of the advantages when pigeon shooting near housing . I have in the past had complaints about noise and police coming over to speak to me . But I’ve found that people will complain about even moderated shooting . It’s a tricky one as even when shooting mid week you are bound to disturb someone who has just finished a night shift . Best advice , keep shooting with a normal shotgun and grow a thick skin !!??

  21. There is some other states where it's legal if I can get through the bureaucracy.Otters are more suited for second season dogs than first. Some terriers will never find a second otter as they will refuse. Some terriers will show good and quit 2 digs after otter on a small coon. Some terriers go in and shit theirselves and come out looking like they seen a ghost with barely a scratch on them.

  22. Possibly but showing kids how a working dog does it job is hardly a breach of the Geneva Convention either. Rats need to be controlled and the only crime I've seen committed here is the intervention of social services. How many lads on here saw a terrier on a rat the first time they went hunting? I'm sure for many of us it was the big introduction into hunting. When I worked for one of the nation PC companies in the UK I'd take my kids with me all the time. They've got a keen eye, passionate interest, and saw things that many seasoned pesties didn't. Plus with child labour rates of a Happy Mea

  27. One question, would ye stand up to a bunch of them, and give no quarter, I grew up around the locals here and they are NOT. only gobby they are the last thing you want to be dealing with, one on one you may have a chance, but they don't work that way, and there's dozens of them on standby, too many to be dealing with, even the cops told me to leave well alone,

  31. Well day 8 over with and my last day of the season, we had a lot of guests and kids shooting with us today so there was no expectation of a big bag, it was a bit of an odd day, doing drives the wrong way round and a couple of places we haven’t done before, mainly as a bit of a tester for next season as we plan on opening up a couple of new drives, there was no peg drawn today so for each drive we could put people who hadn’t had much shooting in a position where they had a very good chance of taking a bird or two, everybody had some good birds over them so the rest was down to them, I managed t

I will post some pictures good enough for public viewfrom this season.I will not reply to fighting or crying. The third picture down was in a rangy place.I located the bitch 200 yards from entrance with tunnels and exits everywhere. There was 2 boar and a sow there. They enjoy underground orgy's during breeding season. My digs are usually 2-5 feet deep.
