As some of you will remember, this was the C1 that Ethan and Jimmy brought back to life and, Si worked his magic on the internals After mentioning it to Ethan on his return thread, I thought it was about time to get it back out again - it's been a while. ........ all I've done to it is add a sling and mount a little Hawke Sport 4x32 duplex in a Dampa mount - apart from that, it's exactly as I recieved it and, I think it looks great It's not the easiest thing to shoot - the straight stock and single stage trigger promotes a quick shot style and, it really does p

  11. Not got a clue , a jipsy lady had 18 pups for sale, she was walking round my area selling them for £30, they were 2 1/2 weeks old, eyes and ears still shut. My neighbor brought 3 of which 2 died, I took last one one off him and hand reared him. She was selling them as Lhasa apso cross westie, but he doesn't have none of them in him, he is a proper mongral ?. He is a great dog, great company while out ferreting and shooting, good at making, great with the kids, hand on heart he has never done anything wrong in and out of the house, he is 6 year old now

  24. Hello, I just finished this tiny Wanderer, with 77mm blade from N690Co and a 105mm handle. Bronze guard, steller sea cow spacer and a very nice piece of sambar that took an amazing, deep ambar colour, never had a piece like this before! Pommel from bronze with a .30-06 shell. Regards Nicolas

  27. The weather down here has been tropical lately , red hot scorching mornings , with the kids off school and me being on my summer recess I’ve been laying in until the kids wake up . I usually wake up a little earlier and take my Labrador out in the woods nearby for a trot around and mess in a few bushes etc. We normally take him to the seaside a few tines a month to let him tear around with the kids having a laugh splashing in and out however the other day , I hadn’t trained so I chucked my wetsuit in the boot and the dog as an afterthought . Red hot day , boiling , I su

  33. Cheers Mark I never knew your FWBs were like that - I'd always assumed they'd be 2 stage triggers. ........ I do like it though Atb mate

  34. Aye up Jonjon Nice looking rifle but oh how right your statement of, single stage trigger promotes a quick shot style and will punish any lack of technique. The old FWB Sport mk1`s are single stage and like that but once mastered it comes together, Enjoy Jj, atb. Mark.

  38. I couldnt talk my kids into coming but me and my pals missed out on kids stuff so tend to make up for it later in life....spent some time around mid Wales this week and saw a big pillar from the road off in the distance ....that locals apparently call " Rodneys Pillar "......so what better idea than have a race to the top ? Bit steeper than we thought we was nearly throwing up by the time we got there....but the views were certainly worth it.

  39. some years ago a mate who had a real good lamping dog, said to me gyp catches lots of hares I recon he could do it in the day, I said bring him, and at the first hedge gyp stopped and came trotting back, he thought that was it like at night, now I would not start a daytime coursing dog on the lamp until it mastered coursing, so why let an all rounder hunt up as a pup in the day, and then take it lamping and moan when it hunts up.
