  1. Sun just coming up on another lovely day, misses birthday so as well as the normal bbq things for later thought I’d get a nice boneless pork leg going on the spit, been soaking in jerk seasoning overnight off to the bakers next for some nice fresh crusty rolls, the simple things in life are often best

  2. There’s still decent enough lads out there. The people who breed for money will keep breeding because people keep buying the pups. I would never expect a pup for nothing but wouldn’t expect to be ripped off.

  3. Many thanks for that Micky....not really, back into the dogs and ferrets, wires, etc...just twiddling my thumbs in various Hospital waiting rooms. Rosy and I have been together, for 45 years, she is my best pal, so I am obviously a wee bit lost, and confused... We beat this fecking thing some 20 years ago; My wife is a strong woman and intends to whip its arse, one more time. Anyway,..it is what it is, eh... All the best to everyone,..regards, Phil.?

  6. I don't breed any thing till I need one, and then only if they good enough, the studs I use are only dogs I have seen run or work a fair bit and like, I wont use something just cos its fashionable, I keep my own council where breeding dogs is concerned.

  10. The Simpsons did it in March 2000. You're right though. They were laughing at people right up until election night too! Let that sink in. Of all the elected officials from every constituency across the land. Boris is the man for the job... Like the rest of them. Deeds not words. His clean slate has been installed and now it's show time.

Now!" defeated idiots I don't trust Boris one bit to deliver brexit, but it is funny to see his appointment make these morons act out. I wonder who paid to bus all those students into central London

  20. This is what grinds my gears about the terrier game. People losing there stand up over who judges a terrier beauty competion. I know the judge and he's as qualified as the nxt man to judge. But in all honesty it's a day out and a bit of craic and a few pints who cares who wins or what sort of head a dog who came third had. All the rosettes in Ireland won't stand to a dog and he six foot down working his game. Steak knife you need to untwist your knickers and see the day for what it really is. ....... . And put your name down to judge nxt year. Even the best qualified judge will annoy someone

  24. I am getting quite excited about the new season just round the corner . My youngster started to show some promise at the end of last season and now after a couple of months out on the farm he is shaping up nicely , his prey drive is fantastic and he even has some manners . Have attached a couple of pics , not the best sorry as he doesn't stand still long and one from just after I got him as a hat rack that had been kept in the back of a van with no exercise and plenty of problems

  33. With house pet type mongrels, cockapoos and such selling for over $2000 OZ dollars here people are opting for working dogs, only because of the price, at a tenth of the pet dogs.As it is, the pounds are filling up with good dogs the yuppies cant handle(pig dog types mostly)I really think hunters need to breed less pups and then only offer them to hunting homes.

  36. Built a little play area to contain the new kits so the kids and pup can get in or out until they all get used to each other. The pup wasn't keen as she got a nip yesterday for being a bit too keen! Will keep at it little bit each day, slow and steady. By the time they are ready to work they will be well used to seeing each other. Get some land drain from work tomoz to get em used to going in and out tubes and seeing me and the pup as they come out too. Summer of training and looking forward to having a good team.

  38. Lad I know told me he was getting a dog. 6-700 quid or summat. What is it? A 'Spruski' it's a Springer crossed with a husky. A f***ing mongrel then I said. Don't get it because you won't be able to handle a working dog like that. Oh, its not guna be a worker he said! Low and behold it's mental like a Springer and pulls like f**k...like a husky! ???? No helping some people.

  40. I've got two (Mitchell Match reels) and still have my bollox ? The one in the photo was given to me by a friend who had bought it new. I got another off fleabay. Back in 'the day' I had a Mitchell 300 and ABU506 bought with the wages from a paper round and a Saturday job at Currys. When I finished on Saturday I would run up to the fishing tackle shop and hand over most of my wages. Once I had enough money on my card I used it to buy something like an ABU Ferralite Mk. 6 match rod or Ernie Stamford swing tip rod, or one of those reels. The reel I dreamed of as a kid, but never ow

  41. I know the NW coast extensively so I'll give you a breakdown, Liverpool to Blackpool is loads of sand and water the the colour of shit then you've got Blackpool which you'll want to avoid and the waters still the colour of shit. The water clears further north around Cumbria, mainly due to radiation from sellafield but also due to the amount of rainwater going into the sea id imagine. My advice would be to go to Cornwall ?
