  3. I thought it was a strange old fight,Joshuas demeanour before ,during and after the fight puzzled me ,only Joshua knows if he took the easy way out (and even be may not be sure) I will probably have to watch it again to make some sense of the whole thing . The only thing I know for sure is all those people screaming quitter and taking some perverted delight in the fact he wasn't carried out unconscious ,have never ha to dig deep themselves in any physical confrontation ,the have never had to find out about themselves otherwise try wouldn't be so quick to sit in judgement of a man's very e

  5. Today chaps I smoked a rack of Beef Ribs six hours on the smoker another hour wrapped in baking paper and foil and then 15 minutes direct heat to Chrisp up I started with a home made rub. Then my wife made a sticky sauce to put over the ribs, when I cut into them the smoke halo was present and it was melt in the mouth like butter the feed back I got was amazing I felt like crying lol here’s a few pics.

  6. On another note in post match presser AJ accepted fault, didn't try to blame anything other than him not being good enough, gave full respect to Ruiz and said he would go away look at where it went wrong and train harder to improve. Can't fault that attitude whether your a fan or not.

  8. Last night, I had a drive to one of my perms just for a look around, one the way back, some very small rabbits were playing in the lane and on the grass verge. I slowed right down to let them get out of the way and while I was almost stopped, a young badger came out from the long grass, sat in the middle of the lane for a scratch. I rolled the car very slowly and within about 15' I put the hand brake on. Expecting the badger to run off, I was surprised to see he or she was quite happy to forage in the grass so moving slowly with the phone camera, I got to about two feet away and took a photo,

  9. To be fair it is right that a lot of issues on shoots are caused by labs kicking off but as a percentage it’s still pretty low. Out of interest. The picture on the forestry track is the Bitch I have in mind and one on the concrete is her full brother. they are both absolute machines out working. Entirely accept that they are unlikely to be a flat out coursing dog, it’s more a mooching, ferreting, bit of lamping and ideally a bit of picking up if possible - proper all rounder and train ability is important. Hadn’t thought of trying to keep them lighter with some saluki, was th

  12. The great things about old photographs is they can be used to trace a terrier line as it develops (or not). Arguably the best known of the Coniston huntsmen, Anthony Chapman began as whipper-in to Ernie Parker in 1932 and became huntsman from 1944 to 1976 when he retired. This photograph shows "Chappie" in later years so the date must be around the 70's. Two things to note, the white terrier and the Slate coated "Parks style terrier" on the couples. More white terriers smooth and wire-haired at Porters feet with the E&E 1906. If Topsy

  14. Come on lads this has been a good thread, don't let it go the way of all the other Fury Wilder Joshua threads on here . Joshua lost he won't be the first and he won't be the last ! I did feel for Joshua but not so for Hearn. Anybody else see Joshua’s dad having a go at Hearn in the ring at the end and Joshua having to step in ? We all have our own opinions so no point falling out with others because they have a different opinion .

  15. ? Do you need to ask.....i cant remember who it was who said it on here a few years ago but it stuck in my mind...." Would you listen to a pacifists views on boxing any more than you would listen to an antis views on hunting ". And as for self confessed pacifists having the audacity to talk about professional fighting men quitting that really tells you everything you need to know. In all fairness i couldnt give 2 bob for Fury or Wilder but i thought both have showed the type of sportsmen they are with their individual reactions to Joshuas loss today i hope Fury batters f**k out of Wi

Couldnt agree more.....but if people dont vote against it they vote for it.....we constantly hear folk moaning about " its gone too far " and " the country is finished ".....well in that case it needs extreme measures to turn things around.....extreme measures to me are not the " oh Tommy Tommy " hang around the streets nonsense some so called patriots want to do,they just want a social club.....its simple support and voting of right wing political parties who are going to represent English people in an extreme way....and thats by putting us first.

  19. It can only be good for boxing that an average height guy with skills can finally get inside an drop these giant freaks that are long and strong and just hold people off with range but aren't skilled in the noble art. Maybe it takes a butterbean type character that is shorter but heavier than the giants and can't be pushed back by a jab. They can take a punch and just bull there way to the inside and then get some shots inside. Ruiz is 6foot 2inch which isn't small but looked like a midget beside 6foot 6inch josh. David Haye was 6foot 4inch and told he was too small. If you have the weight b

  28. As much as fury has shown his good side today and I’m a fan of him over Joshua..... you do have to ask ...that if a j is this big fraud , this easy to read champion....why have they allowed Ruiz to step in and take the belts from him? If he was so easily beaten, why didn’t fury , white , wilder et al do it for themselves ??? instead they’ve stood back and allowed their grand plans for domination and title reigns to take at least a year off with all the rematches etc youd be forgiven for thinking none of them wanted to fight in the first place ?

The way I’ve read the add is bedlington x whippet x greyhound making the dam quarter bred but I could be wrong I’m sure alun1960 will tell us when he’s on next he’s a sound guy either way 1/4 0r 1/8 bound to be good breeding behind them if aluns put a add up. 43. Yeah you know what mate, up until about 3 years ago, We had a 1st x deer/grey x 1st x collie/grey. She was 29" tts and 80lb and extremely powerful. Plenty of people, even experienced lurcher owners were a bit wary of her. Soft as f**k with everything as long as it wasn't in the field. More like an alpha male, rather than a bitch, especially with other dogs, and hard/extreme with all other male dogs.

  46. Same litter would be split into Kerry Blue, Wheaton and Irish, the B&T could pass as Irish back then. The RED coat came later. Irish Terrier 1910 Kerry Blue/ Wheaton were trialled up to the 60's. and some later but the working numbers were not being produced. The Staffs became the dog of choice. (Love the way the staff in the centre is waiting his chance to cling that Kerry Blue.)
