Was out on a shoot this morning and due to the sun shining and a wind to dry anything out we didn't really expect to find but we showed willing and you don't find feck all sat at home with dogs sat bored in kennels,so we set off and as we checked and walked many places and hedge rows and blanked.Well we had one final place to check and we'd had one out of there a month or so back and yep that was empty as well, but you don't just check the holes you know and i let my old( 12 1/2 years old) plummer bitch work the rest of the hedge row and she squeezed into a tight little place and settled at a m17 points

Nice looking pup but I’d like a bit more meat on it for 15 weeks old .. it’s got plenty of time to look like a lurcher when it’s an adult ......5 points

Well I’ve just been a picked it up. It’s a mk3, with a hawke 3-9x50 mil dot scope, with a mini torch and laser fitted. A couple of magazines, even though he did say they were a bit iffy, and buy the new plastic ones. A filling adapter, two tins of pellets, a box of targets and the gun bag. Best £150 I’ve ever spent. There’s a couple of minor marks on the stock, and a tiny amount of surface rust on the barrel. Well happy5 points

There in lays the problem mate ... cheap dry food from Aldi will never put muscle on a dog compared to raw meat ... get raw chicken beef lamb down the pup with veg mixed in ... you will see a world of difference in weight and in the future with muscle mass .....4 points

Fred.. it’s thl mate, there are a lot of folk doing a lot of things which they don’t post about.. they can’t do with the bitching and clowns that frequent thl ,it’s a shame cos there were some very knowledgeable interesting people on here at one time . You can only take so much before you walk .4 points

Hello, today I finished this knife with the pommel and a Norma 30.06 cartridge, preferred caliber of the future owner. 97mm blade from 1.2442, soldered guard from bronze, spacer from mammoth and a handle from sambar (total 120mm) pommel from bronze, as well. Kind regards Nicolas3 points

It’s easy to get stuck in the same old routine of checking the same old earths and bypassing a nearby occupied and unknown earth! Fair play to the bitch??3 points

Unless you were there and actually saw it come out then we shouldn't have any opinions. There's plenty of reasons for a dog to come out, if it walked through cowardice and quit cold then that's a different story. I had a drop of this blood in my yard and the only complaint I had was they were way to hard and stupid for their own good. Ray was a strange cup of tea, a character that's for sure, he was no one's fool with a terrier though. He couldn't wait to call a dog shit and he wouldn't keep anything second rate, he'd make a big deal about anything coming away, he'd look you strai3 points

I wouldn’t call a dog a jacker off one dig, dogs can have a bad day and if they aren’t fit or they’re sick when facing good quarry it wouldn’t bother me as long as they showed they still had it the rest of the season and it’s not a reoccurring thing.3 points

UNITED WE STAND, remember folks. And the anti paddyluke he would be better on gaydar or something as he prob thinks that’s more normal than hunting fs. Ya can spot them a mile off.3 points

Hi guys just a couple images from the other day. Always photographed lurchers so posted in local gundog group asking if anyone wanted some shots taken for free for my portfolio. Gentleman got in touch and we went out, had about an hour with him and got quite a few images. Got 2 cracking images of labs retrieving but they are not in this selection. Ps, not sure if it’s visible in these images but it was frozen game.3 points

All packs work within the exemptions to continue as a group and to offer a fox management service should their landowners require it. The fact you say things like 'chasing your quarry till it can run no more' shows quite clearly you know fck all about hunting.3 points

Hey Guy’s hope all is well. Was out again today with Mathew , who I met via social media ,he has been in Australia for about 7 years and hadn’t been ferreting in all that time, anyway long story short , Mathew stayed at my place, and in the morning we were out and about with the stinkers , and dogs, we managed to bag a few, Mathew went home with a feed of bunnies and a great day was had. Akus about the weight of a trainer , comfy low ankled , not ideal for some but for anything other than serious hiking they okay , good tread, seem to not wear out too much on concrete etc. Just don’t spray them with marker paint2 points
