  5. Because i got convicted of 1 out of 9 charges 9 ( i got a conditional discharge for it ) there is little the papers will do now , Unfortunately unless there a solicitor there is nothing any one else can do i knew from the start it would be a long old haul ill stick with it hurting them as much as i can . I must be doing something to them as they insist on coming round every few months saying they have received a complaint from a member of the public and can they see my animals only to be throw off the property

  15. Took the old lady out today to a sitty tree i`ve shot over for a few years. The 1986 HW77 was flawless. Four presentations and she took the lot. I checked zero before going out and checked zero on arrival, i had to allow 1/2 mill dot left to right today as there was a slight prevailing wind. Range is 38 yards. Here`s my poser. Retrieval to hand of the squirrel. After a working day. atb Mark.

  26. Bit of a sad morning out after pheasants. I lost two birds today ! Feel quite bad about it! It all started by pricking a bird, a runner that made it to a hedge. I worked the hedge slowly keeping Jess close to me and sure enough he pops out and runs. A quick snap shot to the head ended that. This is the bird. Then it got worse. I missed an easy rising bird in front of me! I hit a going away bird hard that glided to a pit hole, never found it! I missed another bird! Pricked another bird, never found it! I spent an hour looking going around and around in c

  29. Some dogs just do get sore nail beds no matter how good their feet appear to be and how short you keep their claws. I used to have to bind the base of the claw on one of my coursing dogs, covering the nail bed and fixing the tape in place with a dab of superglue. It kept her running all season and at the end of the day I just washed the bits of tape off after a soak in hot salty water. The photo shows just one nail done: a bit of a faff but worth it to stop infection, soil, sand etc rubbing away under the nail bed. I got quite quick at it after a while and with the superglue to hold it in plac

  36. Heres a few photos I use a Dremmel copy got it off ebay £15 at the time down to the quick and as metioned short nails help to reduce toe injuries I also think its helped to keep a good shaped foot from being a pup,as regards toughening the pads theres this https://www.greyhoundsuperstore.co.uk/shop/healthcare/tuf-foot-240ml/ or a lot cheaper version https://www.hyperdrug.co.uk/Pad-Hardener-100g/Productinfo/PADH/ .As regards the Dremmel copy its vary speed mine is on 3 my dog is a first cross deerhound/greyhound the odd time only a speck of pin sized blood has surfaced but with sanding attatch

  37. Why so triggered whenever I comment? If anyone is struggling, it is you. Struggling to make sense or even string a coherent sentence together. What exactly is your point in this thread? Is it to big up your friend Jeff? I catch a few moles yes. I dont pretend to be the big man or the best at it. I simply do not do enough to claim that title. " MOST mole trappers that ive come across, or are aware of aren't 'FIT TOO LACE THE MANS BOOTS' " The above sycophantic sentence says it all for me. I feel sorry for you, I really do.

  38. The reason dogs don’t like nail clippers bill it’s because some people use poor quality clippers which crush the nail before it starts to cut which must be very painful ,if you buy some like mine in pics you will have no problems, mine are very sharp & slim ,my dogs don’t struggle when I clip there nails as it’s a painless experience, regards cutting the nails too short and making them bleed this is not a problem if you buy some quick stop of internet which is £5-10 this quick stop stops the bleeding instantly.
