  3. I said I’d do a quick update on ace as I’ve been getting a few pms about him lately. First cross bull whippet for those that remember me posting a few years back. He’s done all I ask of him. Very handy dog on the lamp. He’s mostly used on fox which he has no problem at all with. A very good dog by day and night. Many people ask about his speed, it’s not bad. He has a very quick get off. Catches most of his slips and will burst cover in pursuit of anything. Ive been so pleased with the little dog that I bred him and have two pups that are 13 weeks old. They are bull whip grey. Here’

  7. The Gypsys dog!! IT is said that the Romany Gypsy was the fist people to breed the coursing lurcher' and this is true!! years ago' most people would use greyhounds or whippets to hunt' hares and rabbits,' but the greyhound can only run for a short time and then looses its stamina and the whippet' can only run for a shorter time still' and was mainly used only to catch rabbits'… The other trouble with theses dogs' was that a good hare will twist and turn' and jink'. theirs an old saying' A hare can spin on a penny' and modern greyhounds were bread for running flat out at high spe

  15. Bad luck mate, taking her out to the country would be the right thing to do, it's where she's happiest. I had a bullterrier that hated the vets, he'd start shivering by the door, when the time came I got the vet to come round to my house, nice sunny day, he was calm and lying in the garden when the vet came round so his last minutes there was no stress. Our dogs give there all for us, so when the time comes we should do right by them. all the best.

  21. I prefer mine to hunt rabbits & game birds as there are plenty of both about, for me you can’t beat watching dogs hunt and chasing rabbits, you can’t beat rabbits for learning dogs how to use there noses & build fitness,if my dogs only hunted Fox I would have some really shite days bushing.

  36. I've a first cross wheaten greyhound that I bred myself. The Wheaten was 48 pound strong dog with a good head and the greyhound was on the small side at 24 inchs. The dog pup i kept is 60 pound and about 23 Inchs. Like sandymere said they don't variate much on first cross. If you mix a couple of other breeds in then it can escalate. I'm not a lurcher expert by any means but that's how it turned out for me with a pretty even litter. Turned out perfect for what I need but been honest the dog will always be injury free but if you wanted him to run faster stuff he would lack in gears. I just run

Shot placement is key and I certainly wouldn't be worried about having to use the rifle stock to finish it off... BSA could introduce a commemorative "Rhino Stomper" edition of the rifle.

  43. Update The Bellies have been re-arrested and their bond has been increased from $25,000 each to $250,000 each. Abilene Police Department filed a Motion of Insufficiency of Bond on the basis that it wasn't sufficient and concerns from the community. Further information was that Orange raised a baseball bat, whilst off camera (and 7 feet away), and Older Belly shot him twice. Orange then threw the bat at Older Belly. Younger Belly then shot the now unarmed Orange with the shotgun. Older Belly shot him twice more. Orange was still alive in the clip and died from his injuries on the
