The recently bought 77 has been put through a lot of target practice/ training since buying her from Jimmy, ( Big Mac 97 KT ) as i needed to get to know her spring rifle characteristics before any hunting with her. I`ve put the time and effort in lads and what a beautiful working classic she is. Just one of the many cards i`ve shot with her, achieving drawing pin head accuracy. So being very satisfied and very confident in accuracy levels achievable, i took her for one serious test on the little nursery woodland edge. Average ranges were 38- 438 points

Instil fear to protect their investements, they are currently putting up footage of really vicious acts, gutting people alive, cutting off their arms and legs reducing them to a wriggling torso etc,in the UK people pay a couple of quid for a gram of cocaine,in latin America they pay a much higher price at times.5 points

I've personally never removed a dew claw from a terrier, they've never given me any reason too. I can't say they serve any perpose, but they certainly haven't hampered them either, it comes down to personal choice. If ABC thinks he's helping his terrier dodge a potential injury then all power to him, it's no different than docking a terrier. As for helping to push and pull through an earth, I can see why you'd think it helps, a nice hook like appendage hanging along the side of a terriers foot, what's not to like ! The truth of the matter is after thirty plus years of digging to terriers5 points

If I were you Morton I would forget what others are doing and concentrate on your own dogs that way you will avoid a lot of the flack you receive because regardless what you say or do folks will do what they want with there own dogs, look what happened to George Newcombe he ended up falling out with a lot of folks which I don’t suppose did him any favours as he got older,so calm down and get some pics of your dogs on for us to have a look at,atb with your breeding program.5 points

Mickle123 pm me last year because I posted on here that I dug in Hampshire. I took a chance and took him out with me in Gloucestershire. I can tell anyone on here that he is 100% . He is a northern lad who has moved because of work down south and has no network down here . He is an ex service man and a straight flyer . I have had him out since , hunting with our local pack on a number of occasions and have had him on my shoot and trust him . I will be introducing him to a couple of keepers in Hampshire , so he can go beating and hopefully build up some contacts. He has terriers and a handy Lu4 points

Nice looking pups but having one hanging that far off the floor is asking for trouble if it falls and damages a leg .... especially with that bit of pipe sticking up out of the floor4 points

Went out again tonight with Kaiser and the HW 77. We got settled,i had a full leaf suit on and watched and listened to the wildlife. Have you ever heard one of those bird song dvd`s ? It was just lovely to sit there totally unnoticed. Anyways, the 77 has it`s final zero in place and is now "blisteringly accurate". One presentation in a 2 hour wait but boy did this 77 take it`s chance well. Lovely evening in the nursery woods lads, with a bonus, - loved it. atb Mark.3 points

Never. I've got both jimmy and the thermal is awesome, but it does have drawbacks as well, in certain conditions it's totally blind, damp wet evenings for example, if there is a lot of moisture in the air you cannot see your hand in front of you mate. The other problem with thermal is lining up clear shots in undergrowth, trees, long grass etc, with Nv you can see all the obstructions, thermal cannot. If I had a quid for everytime ive clipped a branch, bramble etc etc, I would be a happy bunny.3 points

I think he already has to a degree, he,s accepted he,s a bit different, but he,s making the most of it instead of moaning and blaming the world for the shit hand he was dealt, happiness is worth a lot ?3 points

All of my dogs have dew claws intact and trust me they are functional. Not going to get into an argument about it, not when I know I’m correct and you come from a nation that crops ears....another functional part of a dog3 points

Just come back from a few days in Anglesey and boy there are a lot of rabbits there. Talking to the guy whose b&b we stayed in and he said the levels are very high and if we go again he might be able to put me onto a bit of shooting. I had a chat with a guy who came fishing on Moelfre rock pier who said he shoots most of the caravan sites in the area out of season with good results using his sub 12. I love that place although the weather could have been better. I will take the rifle next time. Phil2 points

Got some jsb exact diabolo today and I can’t believe the difference,it only took 10 shots to set the sights up,in pic all 10 pellets in 5p circle at 25 yards with a bench to rest on, with the air arms I would have got 1 or 2 in the circle but the rest would have been all over the place. Cheers for advice.2 points

Do your own thing, walk your own path and make your own mistakes. As soon as you seek unknown company you wear oily footwear. It pays to have a mucker with the same intentions as yourself, watch yer back, lend an helping hand and then feck you over.It takes years to meet the right uns, until then slip alone and dig for two.2 points

I,m very much for rowing my own boat I,m afraid mate, had a right shite start in life and have done alright, good kids the love of a good woman and own my own square of England, if I disagree or dislike something I can do something about it or move away from it, but getting angry about things I,m not involved in is just a waste of time, i,ve not lived the life of a saint and therefore feel it would be a bit hypocritical to judge others especially if I no nothing about them so that's why I,m a bit of a live and let live type of guy2 points

Nothing wrong with Pulsar N870 or N970 lrf . My N870 LRF is absolutely brilliant would not be with out it IMO the best NV although some will say the Drone pro is better but it has no range finder built in like the pulsar N870 and N970 are even better with doubler on By the way ATN are crap but I thought I would let you make your own mind up , as I keep knocking other NV units the only reason once you had the best then the rest are just not that good2 points
