My Lurcher bitch needed a c section cost me almost £1400 for 3 pups.... 3 weeks later the 1 pup was ill went to vets, they kept it alive for a week it died charged me £300 for the privilege lol, I gifted the bitch to friends who just lost their dog, dog pup went to a lad off here for £100,i told him he still got the dog in 2 yrs I give him his money back... The way I see it, if it's your passion and you're serious about the job, you'll never think about money to be made. If you want to make money, go to work. As I've mentioned before a Hornady 17g HMR V-Max and a Hornady 30g WMR V-Max fly very close to each other out to around 100. I have both, and the WMR uses almost exclusively Hornady V-Max these days, but my last WMR absolutely loved the 40g CCI Maxi Mag HP (my latest WMR no so keen on these). As usual, for field work I consider you will find it hard to beat a CZ as an overall package!
