After a long night we ended up needing to recharge our batteries for longer than we anticipated and ended up getting out quite a bit later than expected at around 6.45 ? thinking the better part of the morning may have been and gone we decided a quick coffee to wake us up was needed then a quick look around at a farm only 5 mins down the road was our best option. On the way there the weather seemed to be in our favour being a smidge colder than the previous morning and we hoped this might have kept the deer from moving around so quickly. In a time when honours are handed out for seemingly very little, I think King Kenny’s knighthood is well deserved. He comes across as a very humble and down to earth guy. Evening all, it’s been a while. What with work and life I just haven’t had the time to get out and do any shooting whatsoever. I’ve also been focusing a fair bit on my fishing in recent weeks so I’ve been putting the hours in on my local club waters. Tonight however, I finished work and realised that I actually had no plans. I tested some S&B ammo at 100 yards and they are powerful rounds. Sporting a 40grn bullet with an exposed lead hollow point I expect them to be good fox medicine. I only have the one box though! On a side note in the heat the barrel got very hot but zero did not shift which really pleased me demonstrating a stable barrel and action. U.
