  1. Many of the best lines of Bull blood and Coursing dogs, came about, via men with time on their hands and a desire to create something special...regardless of their own financial status or upmarket neighborhood... Nice shiny kennels and a brand new pick up, don't necessarily make good dogs,..its continuous work in the field that molds an animal into a useful critter...?

  2. My Gran and Granddads old house, its gone now. Here's Grad parents, mother and father aunt and uncle and us kids. I loved to go and stay in that old house it had gas lights which used to fascinate me. Only one cold water tap a potty under every bed a jug of cold water and a bowl on every dresser, and the toilet was up the garden. There was a spiral stair case which us kids loved, lowering a basket on a string with an apple or something in. But in the Attic which you could access through a little door was stored aunt and uncles stuff from South Africa masks, spears, shields and horns, in the ha

I think most have been there apache i had one last season I knew it would be a long day within ten minutes with him in my ear constant then when his dog walked he said those famous words its not done that before I have always found the more honest and modest lads usually had the better dogs the louder the owner the more my expectations dropped in there claims which normally proved right

  8. I think a few volumes of c**ts and wankers could easily be filled, it's the main reason I keep my circle very small and dig on my own plus I can't stand big mouth bullshitters, met a first class one a couple of seasons back my head was ringing for days afterwards. It was another case of (this lad is sound) by someone I knew, washed my hands of that prick too.

It's a sad fact that the dog game is full of wankers like this and wankers that would defend them when it suits their agenda....... there's some of us know more than we say and say less than we should. One day I'll put a massive list up of WANKERS I've had the misfortune to know and ungrateful WANKERS I've helped........or should I put it in a book

  19. What Churchill was in favour of was a Common market ,a group of countries with sound economies that could trade free oh and fairly under a standard set of rules ,a group where workers could fill each others short falls of trades on a temporary basis and he treated equally . what he wouldn't of been in favour of is the common market evolving into the EU ,a totalitarian European state where those countries who had ,by and large ,stable economies ,being forced to breast feed less functional countries ,who brought nothing to the table but an empty grasping hand ,turning your UK ,Germany Fran

  21. Only useful to a man who seeks to avoid the spade and knows his dog won't stay anyway. Whatever floats your boat Mort .I would rather one good dig in a day than see foxes flying out of holes all day ,does my head in and allows me to sleep soundly ,knowing both myself and the dog are the real deal lol. Thankfully not everyone has your low standards in the beddy circle .

  26. f**k sake comparing today's world to back then is a cheap shot. Also asking what they sacrificed "what for" is that meant to be a serious response. Yes the state of the world is far from perfect but to use old war heroes is quite frankly appalling. One more point kerny learn some history. If you think Nazi Germany and the British empire could have co existed you're an idiot! Stalin thought the same when he made an allegience with uncle Hitler. Even signed a non aggression pact. How did that turn out for him lol To the fallen I thank you. RIP never f

  33. Sorry to here of your loss mate. Have you no idea what your father paid for it as it only a few months ago? Looks a nice bit of kit for inshore or river fishing. Try a boat dealer on the coast. This would be a better time of the year to sell rather than the autumn. Atb. Cheers Arry

  34. I would tend to agree with release dates, we may well be the poor relations but I don't see why release dates for the UK commonly drift back so far, sometimes years! The yanks may well think they are the most important, but where guns are concerned most manufacturers agree with them, and want to keep the US happy!

  35. And a lot of them are work shy c**ts who think the country owes them a living. "Im not doing that job" Others think they shouldn't pay anything back Then there is the alkie and junkies I agree with you're last statement though ALL Brits should be afforded the same option's.

  39. starting off with something and trying to change it into something that already exists is pointless, what phil said about purpose bred dogs is spot on, if hares are your thing you know what to get, same for fox or deer, there are hundreds of great rabbiting lurchers out there, so why bother trying to go back in time, however if the dear hound cross lights your fire go for it and be happy, as I have got older I don't take my self ore my dogs to seriously and my enjoyment has gone up as a result.

  43. Thank God you hadn't set Kania traps, Bosun... Never rated the killing power of a Fenn trap,..seen far too many live critters, (ferrets, Mink, stoats, etc) fighting to get free of its clinging embrace... I remember sitting with George Newcombe, as one of his Bedlington hybrids came trotting around the corner, wearing a Fenn trap, on its muzzle? "Come here ya silly thing", said George, as he removed the rusty old trap... The terrier went straight back to continue searching for her rat, totally unharmed and none the worse for the experience...?
