Well it’s time to have the old boat out for blacking and an age related survey on the hull so have just booked the dry dock at stourport as it’s the nearest one that will allow you to do the work yourself, stourports an interesting place anyway so will be two days travelling up the Severn then 7 days in dock to get her all cleaned back and three coats of fresh tar8 points

There have always been shoplifting gangs, we knew them as “Hoisters” in my little circle but I’m not sure that’s a recognised term……but its what they did for a living, targeting hi end clothing and department stores in the west end and then selling the goods piecemeal or wholesale as a parcel. Im not saying its right but it existed…..but….and this is a massive BUT !!…..like everything else, what you don’t do is import more of it ! Crime exists, with our own people it’s our own domestic thing….the insanity is importing more and, in many many cases, much worse.7 points

To answer a few of your points, there have been several threads on big cats everyone ruined and taken down either by Greb or his predecessor , I personally have never started one but I will try and answer if the question arises, as it’s something I,m involved in,and understand I can’t give you all the answers you want as I’m a tiny cog in a much bigger machine things I find I pass on further up the chain, anyone with an interest can come and meet me and I will happily take them out for a wander or to the university when we have our annual gatherings and you can meet students and lecturers that5 points

I've worked with lads from Iran, Hong Kong and South Africa. We currently employ a smashing lad from Zimbabwe and every one has crossed legally and have paid for the privilege. They work pay taxes never claimed a benefit and respect our country and its values. Each one has a the same opinion as that chap in the clip, some more extreme! We need to hear more from people like that, they dont want the country they have come to looking for a better life going to shit anymore than we do.5 points

Always hoped I would have something to contribute to this thread. Looks like they were alone and wandering near people. Not the best sign. Ontonagon County in our Upper Peninsula is pretty wild and where I bear hunted this past fall. Plenty of wolves and coyotes there. Hope the best for them. Mountain Lion Cubs. First cougar cubs verified in Michigan in more than a century For the first time in more than 100 years, cougar cubs have been discovered living in the Michigan wild. State biologists on Wednesday confirmed the existence of two cougar cubs on private land in On4 points

Might be a case of if your telling them "in the next year or so" they just think your just fishing for prices I'm a self employed builder , nothing major just me and for periods I have someone with me labouring . I've been to price lots of jobs where they tell me on the phone what they want done and I go round to have a look and they give off the vibe their on the fence about having it done or just want to know the price of having things done . Nothing wrong with that by the way but its a killer measuring up to redo the whole upstairs or something substantial to then hear back after you'3 points

My wife works in a supermarket, there are thousands of £££ walking out daily, and they keep changing security staff as they stand and watch when its happening or mysteriously disappear out the back when a incident occurs. The elephant in the room is almost every security guard for the last 18 months has been a skinny little Asian!2 points

Could well be a couple of mates who he works with they do seem to have a lot of "downtime" in his line of work. I used to work with a few lads who would go on forums and set up accounts and then start arguing with one another, It can be strangely entertaining watching the genuine posters get sucked in and become irate Problem is after a while it loses its comedy factor and just becomes boring and tedious.2 points

We don’t really eat at home, saves a fortune on the weekly shopping bill and electricity,we prefer eating out, plus neither of us ever used to waste a penny,I remember working 12 hours a day 6 days a week earning £500-600,my weekly expenses (I kid you not) were a budgeted £35 a week,I was saving for something,I bought it after a year and a half of living like a p***y,I have never in my life smoked nor drank,my lifestyle is ok’ish nowadays due to sacrifices years ago when most were partying and drinking.2 points

Scot Dick Mctaggart has died. He won Olympic gold and also bronze. 634 bouts, 610 wins, all at amateur. Absolutely phenomenal. He came from a family of 18. Dick was navy champion, one of his brothers was RAF champ and another brother army champion. I remember him featuring quite often on the old 14 inch black and white telly we had in the fifties. The whole family including my mother used to admire his ballet style of boxing. He had really silky skills and faultless footwork. Mam used to get really into the wrestling on a Saturday afternoon and almost as excited when she watched boxing. She h2 points
