Out with the long nets and dogs this morning, big old set, 8 rabbits accounted for no digging… result, onto another bit and we split up, bolted 4 from a nice wee set and two 2’s from another 2, the other lads accounted for 2 and had to dig them… all in 18 nice big healthy rabbits accounted for some photos6 points

Was going to have a day off today but a phone call had me putting in a drain and a bit of concrete floor for an old lad to make a room for growing his winter “ tomatoes “ he didn’t come across as someone who would get through that many “ tomatoes “ ( lol )6 points

I’ve been there with the coke and got clean done a 12 step program and get to help other young men through it and see there life’s change for me it was to fit in then it was using on emotions then it was just daily using lost the power of choice somewhere along the line and if it wasn’t for my best friend being in recovery I’d of been dead but tell you what and I’ve been to a lot of meeting throughout Scotland Ive yet to meet a stupid addict far from it you meet ignorant arrogant egotistical twats that tends to be the sober ones but I know where I was and where i am now thanks to th5 points

Now it might well be the circles I move in, but, I genuinely don't know a single person who is pro immigration on any level. In fact it would be fair to say they are in fact the polar opposite. I had two council workers out at my place recently, a man and a woman. Anyway the topic of immigration comes up as it seems to be what everyone is talking about. Only real way to stop it says the guy is to flatten a few boats coming over the channel. The woman is standing there nodding her head in agreement. They didn't know me from Adam, they didn't care who I was. That's where we are now, well t5 points

I did think about the caravan club , but then I realised that it was really just a swinging /wife swapping club , and you wouldn't swap my wife for a f***ing old pram .4 points

The outside toe is a weight bearing toe apparently which makes sense so vets are reluctant to take them off. For a pet dog it’s not huge issue you would imagine. For a worker though who knows but you will find people who have had them off and fine and others where things have gone down hill. You got watch vets now a days they blatantly like to make money though there are some good ones. You sort of have to tell them what you want done. An X-ray takes lot of the guess work out but that’s no cheap exercise either now a days3 points

I’ve got a 240 Blitz and 12v 12ah batteries for longer nights on certain quarry, but if it’s just for an hour or two local on rabbits, this led lamp with a lithium battery in the handle does the job fine; Cheers.2 points

My caravan was built before they had cars to tow them with , I think it's been sitting in the woodland for about 30 years. The regulator is the one that was with the caravan when I bought the woodland. I put a four ring gas hob in about five years ago , and that's been faultless , but , now that I know it could be an issue , I'll put a new regulator on there. The bottle is already chained up , I'd never thought about it falling over to be honest, it was purely for security, but now that I know that falling could be an issue, I'll make the chain a bit tighter . I probably should2 points

propane operates at 37 mb and butane at 28 mb but if your caravan is a tourer built after i think 2004 and has a bulkhead regulator they will probably work at 30mb and will do for both propane and butane but you will have to change the pig tails (the hose from the bottle to the reg) they use them because bottles in Europe all come with different fittings, but if your caravan is a static with a bottle outside you will have to change the regulator and remember to install another vent ,if being used all winter by you and your family i would really get a gas safe engineer to look at it and get2 points

i would also turn the gas off at the bottle at night in case you have a leak propane and butane are heavier than air and always falls to the lowest point that is why you have vents under all appliances in caravans called drop holes to let the gas escape in case of a leak and never block those vents off or any vents in a caravan2 points

Pine Martens will actually be a block to effective grey squirrel control . Where greys exist methods for their control will need to be tailored so as to reduce the likelihood of nailing a protected marten . Some proven methods of squirrel control may have to be abandoned . Even if pine martens really did exist historically in some of the places they are to be, or have been, released ; today's is a different landscape . It's been proved that campaigns by properly determined human agency against grey's are effective . Throwing a wild card like a bunch of pine martens at the prob2 points

I have had the log burner on 6 times this month my mrs has an under active thyroid one of the symptoms is shes always cold, she would quite happily put the heating on but i refuse to give the gas company's any money until i have to, at the moment i am burning my old double bed lol i stripped all the upholstery off the sides the end and the headboard chain sawed it up its burning a treat waste nothing. Heres a pic of mine from last year wouldn't do without one great plan B when they start controlling what you can and cant have with these so called smart meters which i flatly refuse to have2 points

Bacon trial No1. Been curing all week, took first joint out to try. First couple slices were really salty but these were outside ones. Others were spot on. The fat on the bacon actually cooked, none of the water and shite coming out of it like shop bought that stops the fat going crispy. Home grown bacon, home grown eggs on home made bread....we are getting there now!2 points

This was how Bear was every single day for a month after breaking his neck then another pic of him as he is now,I never went to bed for 30 day's,I turned him over every 2 hours to prevent him getting sores but he still got them,he couldn't stand to clean or eat/drink..I fed him by hand & squirted water down his throat 6 times within every 24 hour's to prevent dehydration, from how he was here, then thought his recovery & learning him to stand & then walk to how he is today is quite remarkable really. He is disabled but he doesn't know that I don't think. He can jump anything again no1 point
