Soft cnut couldn't knock out scrambled eggs...total f***ing embarrassment to Boxing and his people...the whole family need to take a good look at themselves, and disappear back under the rocks, from which they crawled...and give it a rest..

Fenns are very effective at catching. They are very easy to set, they are also very easy to set badly. Unfortunately they don't in my opinion kill quickly in a lot of cases. When set badly it increases the chances of a bad catch..... and as said they are easily and often set badly. In the vast majority of cases there is a better option offering a quicker kill. Unfortunately these options often aren't as effective or easy or they take alot more thought to set. They are often a lot more expensive as well. The law just stopping there use on stoats but not other things is badly thought o

Without a doubt, that's no excuse, it was his character that had the final say, he wasn't the only fighter to have been born in dire poverty, look at Jack Johnson, Sonny Liston, Joe Frazier, Tyson wasn't unique in that regard.
-
Yeah he had a good chin, but unlike a Ali, he couldn't find a way when his skills waned, I suppose it makes It that much difficult when you have all the physical disadvantages.
-
All very true and well documented... I think most of the great boxers have had to deal with adversity in their lives, for many it is their escape and path to a better life.. No doubt Tyson was the biggest name on the planet at a very young age, he had everything too soon and no shortage of people to take advantage of him... but when arguing different boxers and who is the greatest etc, Tyson will always always been thrown in the mix and pre buster Douglas Tyson who could argue, but his frailties, mentality etc was put to the test a few times and he came up short.. ultimately his choi

Tbf Evander Holyfield said that Tyson was the hardest worker he'd ever seen. The trouble is, he always had roguish tendancies, I suppose that stems from his upbringing. The likes of Cus, Bill Cayton & Jim Jacobs could control it for the most part, although he was prone to the odd blowout. The begining of the end was when Jacobs died and Don King got his claws in to him, giving him what he wanted, surrounded by yes man, and the things he desired were definitely not in his best interests. Is it a surprise he went off the rails really, young and immature, coming from nothing to bei

Loved Tyson as a kid, I was 10 when he beat Trevor Berbick for the world title.. remember it like yesterday...but.. he wasn't dedicated to the game, you can make all the excuses in the world and say a 20 year old Tyson would beat anyone, the truth is a still young Tyson lost to better fighters, he was 30 when he lost to.Holyfield, 35 when he lost to Lewis.. early 20s when he lost to Buster Douglas (freak punch, or zero preparation?)... The bottom line is Tyson wasn't mentally strong enough to train properly, live properly, conduct himself properly and he lost to the best he fought as they
