Afternoon all.
Bit of a long shot really but, I was just wondering If anybody out there might have a sunshade that would definitely fit the thread of a Nikko Sterling Diamond's 42 mm front objective?
Because I've recently purchased the above scope brand new at a great price, but apparently the relevant matching sunshades were only manufactured and sold a few years ago and you just can't buy them anymore. I've tried numerous gun shops that sell the Nikko range of scopes but to no avail.
I even tried to fit my Vortex 42 mm front sunshade but it's the wrong screw thread size and doesn't fit. So I'm guessing that different sunshades for different makes of scopes have all got different screw threads even though their front objectives are the same size.
