my immature mate goss has damidged his leg and he had to go to the vets. reluctantly i then had to hand over £102 for a 10 day corse of antibiotic and anti inflamitry. he will be out of action for two weeks just as he started to catch game and rabbit on a regular basis. sods law i surpose. fortunatly i have 5 more birds to occupy me wich is a good consilation i surpose. cant wait to get him back into the swing of things. hes only been off for two days and im missing it allready hence why i have desided to make a blog as i have alittle more time than usual . will keep you posted on how it heels.

I just bought snare wire for snaring foxes, but i just figured out that the wire is not flexible enough. When i make the snare and put my hand in through the loop to test it the wire kinks back and the loop loosens.I was wondering is there a such thing as small gadget to put on the wire to stop it from loosening?
I've just bought a new hunting lamp that came with a red filter. I went hunting with a friend who had a lamp with a dimmer switch and a red filter and it worked a lot better than my own. I heard that a red filter and a dimmer switch is a good combination. The lamp didn't come with a dimmer switch so i was wondering if it was possible to buy a dimmer switch and fit it on the lamp?

i have owned a webley xocet for about 5 years now, i have a hawke 4-12X40 scope on it and it seemed to do ok on it, until recently when i had to re-zero it again and i had to adjust the verticle adjustment so it was screwed all the way in just for it to be about 2 inches away from the target, i zero'ed it in at about 50 yards. i also took it apart the other day and unscrewed the trigger pull weight adjustment screw all the way out but i screwed it back in, would this have an effect on the performance of the air rifle or is it nothing to be worried about?

Hi guys, I'm pretty new to air rifle shooting and wondered if any one knows where I could get hold of a good condition right handed walnut stock for a .22 Theoben Evolution.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :-)
After shooting the gun for the first time it was found to be clipping the moderator, The rifle was purchased second hand and may have been bumped in its previous life!
Do I splash out and get another Moderator plus adapter or not?
