I went to Sparsholt many years ago it was quite good, they have a bar and the food was shite. I did learn a fair bit and met some good friends who I still see to this day although they live 65 miles away, they have loads of permission and lots of Roe  .

Good luck

what are you doing about accomodation at sparsholt, i intend to go maybe next year, and was interested do you have to find your own accomodation or do sparsholt provide it? are there house sharing schemes there?

atb

wbk

if you live more than an hour away from the college you can get accomodation on campus which a grant can also be got to reduce the price of this. when you turn 18 you can aslso apply for college accomodation in winchester.

hope this helps

im currently there doing a ND in game and wildlife management. what a load of sh*ite this college is now. its almost as if the college is embarressed of the career we love and enjoy. they try to hide alot of the goings on i a keepering job and has turned into any normal college since it merged with andover compared to a specialist outdoor course college. sooo glad im leaving soon and going into a job. its such a shame as previous lads ive spoken to have said how good it was a few years back but now its gone downhill. after the first year, the lecturers sort of give up with you, loose all time they used to take giving good, in-depth teaching and focus on the new first years. its like your pushed to the back of the pile.

alot of the courses and tickets we were promised to complete have never even been mentioned and the few that do are put off due to them saying there no funding :( its a real shame as i was really enthusiastic in the months leading up to me starting.

just my 2p worth
