thanks for that rob. that is cheap, might stock up on a few of them . cheers mate . i fitted an adjustable pad on my first one and have not found the need ta alter it at all, maybe a waste a money if the stock is made to suit the person .

thanks hendo will do . yea your right there rob i never thought of that . will be ordering a few in . havent done anything on stocks over the weekend . went to the game fair at detling on sat , brought a new guncase for my stock as it wont fit in me old one now, me mate had ta buy one too, tight bugger, lol

thats some fine craftsman ship how much would you wont to make a plain simple one for a smk xs17. i bought the gun cheep for the missis but the stock is a state. i could send you the stock if you were up for making one

thanks clabby, i got a few orders for these stocks coming in now , nearly finished no 3 which ha seemed to take ages as i have not had a lot of spare time lately , just a bit more rubbing down then the oiling , this one will be for sale , couple a pics below . got 2 people got first offers on this , have pm,d them if not then i will put it up for sale . looking fowrd to my next stock , already drawn plan on the american maple , bit simalar to stock no 2 but bigger palm swell and may change a couple a things as i go ,

its a work of art i recon they would give ginb stocks a run for there money

It's not that funny a way of working really mate - thats just creativity for you Midge bud. :thumbs:

 

My original drawing for my own walnut stock looks very different to what the finished artical now looks like, i too had re-thoughts along the way. But that is the beauty of doing things in this way - the more you think about something, then the more ways you can see of making improvements along the way, Innit!? :):yes:

 

Like I say - creativity. :)

cheers terry . i do set out with plan but it never seems to finish like i set out , i think along the way and change the lines so they flow together as much as i can get them too . dont think i wopuld like ta do the same thing over and over or i would get bored , each stock is coming out completly differant and i got some ideas up me sleave so watch this space . reckon the next one will be a class stock . will get down ta ya soon bud and i,ll bring a couple down ta show ya .
