Talk about a fluke

You know the threads that go summat like "So what's your best ever shot?", well.........................

 

Climbing to the top of the fields this morning in a howling gale blowing left to right, dogs busy in the trash and trees, I crept up to the fence, sheep in the next field , always crows there, yep, there was one just trying to land in the wind about 30m in front of me, it half crashed on to the ground facing me side on, now it was so feckin windy I was havin a job to hold the X2 steady and for a slit second I thought "What about the conditions?", "What if I miss and only wound the little birdy?" , I'd come over all respectful for my quarry

 

Then about a nano second later I aimed at it's arse and shot the fecker in the head, good night little murdering vulture type birdy, sleep tight One less to hassle the livestock

 

That wasn't my best shot, I wouldn't ever post on that in a serious way, but I must say that shot is possibly my most enjoyable shot
