Kye 77 Posted March 10, 2005 Author Report Share Posted March 10, 2005 First of all, thanks to Moll for being very kind and posting the pics for me...i know your tired with all that phone sex we have been having!..lol.. :friends: Yeah, i thought i had seen some game dogs in the UK, but these fuckers kind of make them look like whippets!..lol..Seriously though, ive never seen dogs like them...The sire to the brindle dog is a very good yote killer, and has plenty of size and guts to back him up...I will have to take a picture of these dogs feet though...i havent got a foot festish or anything, but they have the best feet i have ever seen on any type of running dog...mind you, they have to with the terrain they get run on!..lol.. That red bitch is a nice little type, and thanks to FR and some other yank mates, she has come on no end...still has a lot to prove though, but her attitude has altered alot just lately...i hope she makes the grade...the white dog, is a russell we got just recently,...we got him because he is VERY closely related to my wifes very good dog who recently died after working a 'Coon...me and FR call him "Prozac"...he has no emosions...never wags his tail, never barks, never fights with other dogs...we let him see a 'Coon in a stop end, and he went f*****g mental...we then staked him out, and he just stood there good as gold!...lol...for some reason, the dog hates me, but i realy like him!..lol...i dont think he will be much of a bayer, or much of a Ground Hog dog...should be handy for 'Coon, fox and maybe even that ever elsuive USA badger!?...im sure if i knock about with FR enough, he will get a chance!..all the best folks. Kye 77 Posted March 10, 2005 Author Report Share Posted March 10, 2005 Smallmouth...the jackrabbits are of course not a rabbit, but a hare...in most states, they have no close season, but rabbits do have a season!..lol..in one state, they are even classed as predators!..i think it had summat to do with you being able to hunt them all year around?...i dont know, they have some funny laws over here...but, most laws are FUNNY, not STUPID, like back home! ....i would say, they differ from UK hares in the style they run...there the same weight wise, but i have killed some HUGE jack rabbits on an Indian reservation in Arizona...real big ones!...with my very little exsperiance (i have only been here a year last week) they seem to want to RUN rather than turn...buy that i mean there not as twisty turny, but they do seem a little faster than UK hares...i would say the UK hares are better movers though...maybe its the VERY open terrain they live in?...i have some pics of New Mexico, and you can see nothing but flat plains as far as the eye can see....it must be THOUSANDS Of miles of plains and praire..IF there is a God, when he made New Mexico, he must have had coursing people in mind!..lol.
