tuskless wildboar stuck in compound couple miles down road from my place in week.when soil people turned up it jumped fence and ran off.made article in local rag.

There been a few siteings in bedfordshire recently one of the places ive lamped plenty of times never seen f**k all!! so i carnt see it , that said ive never seen roe t the same place an i did other week so you never know .

they are cunning, shy as hell

 

chances are you'll see their digging before you see them

 

that is if they are rooting up the ground there, look for rubs on trees too low for deer

 

if you know they are in the area, try soaking wheat in buckets for a few days, then pour in around the area they ae working, once they get a taste for it they seem to love it.(from my experiences anyway) we also used to leave boned out carcasses for them to eat, they generally eat bones and all
