spiderpig 39 Posted November 23, 2008 Report Share Posted November 23, 2008 just after some advice on cameraa settings my camera is a fujifilm finepicx 10.7 optical zoom has a button at the top with the following on it auto a man wi wiggly lines round him p s a m sp n a head an a sharp pointy thing and then on the side its a button with af c s mf i have no clue what any of these mean and im struggling for clear shots at range yet if i move the second swith it goes clear but then goes off,,can anyone tell me the best settings please much appreciated Quote Link to post Share on other sites

If you don't have a manual for it you can probably find one online - google is your friend I suspect the top button is for the basic camera settings - the head symbol is probably for portraits, auto is self-explanatory, m might be for manual, where you have to set everything yourself. The button on the side... probably for focus? af may be autofocus, mf manual focus? Just guessing as I don't know your camera, but I'd suggest setting everything to "auto" for now.
