Rat Sniper Pro Co2 .22 Air Rifle

hi every1 ive been looking at the Rat Sniper Pro Co2 .22 Air Rifle ive seen it for sale for £144.00 i wanted to spend 140.00 so is that gd plus if [NO TEXT TALK] has one of these rifles i would be greatful for there comments i only want it for taking out rabbits and pigeons and its only my first rifle so please give me ur comments...

They have the rifle there you posted about, £5 more, but with a scope, which I don't know if you are getting from your other deal. I personally, would get a spring powered rifle, as from what I have heard, they seem to be more consistent with the power output.

 

I currently have a Weihrauch HW77, which I am really happy with. I have previous experience with a Cometa (My first rifle), and a Webley, although can't remember the model name. Thought both were good, but the Webley seemed to have the edge (which it probably should have - It was more expensive!)

 

My father in law rates BSA's quite highly too - You could probably pick up a Meteor or a Comet for round about your price mark new. At my local gunshop, you can pick up a used BSA Firebird in .22 for £130.

 

The end choice is entirely yours though - One mans dream is anothers nightmare, and so on. You should look at different makes, and see which you feel suits you best. I like having a reasonably heavy rifle, as I feel I am steadier with a little more weight.

hi the rifle im looking at has a scope and slilencer and what do you mean

What I was meaning, was that the power output of the CO2 rifle will drop as the canister empties. That was all.

Check the above site, and make your mind up depending on what you want from the rifle. Of course, there will be others who come along to voice their opinions also, so it's worth listening to all opinions, and then make your own decision.

err, no

all non FAC rifles, can only put out a max 12ft lb, a springer can and will have the same power,

you can sit shooting rats with a springer all day, a cartridge type rifle, if using the small bulbs, will give you maybe 15 consistant shots before dropping off, the larger canisters on the king rat catcher boasts 200 shots, tempreture can affect this though

 

just looked at the link, wouldent touch it with a barge pole, trouble is, once you're shot a few woodies or rats in a barn, you'll want to try further shots, or bigger quarry, a mate of mine bought one of these, even after I told him not too, within a month he had sold it, getting half his money back

The "Rat sniper" is the qb78 really, i highly underated gun with tuning possibilities that are endless and with spares cheap and everywhere they make a good alround gun. I have a crosman rabbitstopper now i know some people dont like these guns becasue there shit,cheap etc but this is wrong i have had 3 Bsa, meteor,supersport and the BSA tactical xl and none of them compare to this gun. I can take rabbits up to 35 yards with ease and it hits where i point it unlike the xl.... Great guns but get a crosman if your going down that road alot better made and the stocks alot nicer:D
