Walkie Talkies...

i bought these two walkie talkies early this season and have found them to be invaluable in many ways. i would recommend them to anyone for their respective pursuits. Communications can be vital and i was reminded of this only the other week. My mates dog had ran a roe we had accidentally spooked and his dog disappeared...My mate waited where we had last seen the dog whilst i went looking for him, i eventually found him nearly half a mile away around the other end of a sewage works. The dog had been unable; to return due to a very high fence....whats could have been a disaster had a happy ending....recommended! JD

i beleive they cost about £60 for my pair, but the price is coming down. Currently argos had a set of four for £60 and i know they are good. These BT ones have great range on them. Personally , i would never try to beat woods or go lamping without them....Its so invaluable to know whats going on...

was told if there were any above that range they would have to subject to some kind of licence.

i like the sound of your mates as four kilometres is no good to me and would like to know more about this licence buisness

Quite right Rob

The ones we use for filming are good to five miles but hard to nick, the production staff get a real bollocking if any go missing , so I reckon they cost a few quid.
