my little greyhound bitch 25tts will rabbit alnight and run some good hare pre ban no problem

aslong as she has somthing in her sights id put her stamina against most dogs :victory: heart and drive aswell for me.

might be a silly question to some people

but if you crossed a whippet with a greyhound would any speed be lost ??

your getting better turning quality and less speed over the longer run more a rabbiter rather than hare hound :victory: still very quik

My only gripe with most of the Irish park bred coursing dogs are that they are to big ie 90 - 100 lb for breeding lurchers, a good sound marathon track bred of sound breeding will do the job imo, ie ballyreagan bob was used to produce a few good lines of coursing lurcher im sure courfields Joe was bred down from this greyhound ?

just curious why size would play a part in it, why would any greyhound be too big for breeding??
