rat snaring

thanks p&g got one out on the bigest or heavyest used run in my garden. iv used 2 strand made from a desembled shop bought snare . nail in dowl "style" and a fiberglass rod from B&Q .. the hole thing looks good .. all i need now is that rat iv seen time and time again thats the size of a young rabbit to get him self caught.

 

im at work tommoroow and there is loads of hazel so i will cut aload .

 

 

question does the haxel need to be dried ?

:good: nice pictures pegandgun ,theres nothing more satisfying than seeing old ratty swinging by his neck,i remember making and setting some rat snares with my grandfather when i was a lad and going to check them next morning and seeing one of the beggers hanging there lol :haha::haha:
