tips on ferrets and ferreting

1) Don't forget to take your ferrets with you.

 

2) Wear trousers, otherwise you won't have anywhere to keep your ferrets.

Dont forget to tie the bottoms of said trousers!!

Always be as quiet as possible when setting nets,always have another net ready to cover a hole where a rabbit has got

caught,never be in to much rush to get the locator out ,some burys are deeper than we think and the ferrets need time to shift the rabbits,....................steve

Try to remember where your dog shits. :D

keep a sharp knife, and always back fill your holes or rabbits may not want to move back in if their house hase massive holes in it :thumbs.

always put the collar on before you enter the ferret :fool: (no pervy feedback please)

 

don't forget to lay the nets before entering

 

make sure you put the right collar on...i remember sticking batteries in one checking it then putting the spare collar on with no batteries in :oops:

Make sure you have warm clothing on.

Make sure you have waterproofs with you.

Make sure you take food and a warm drink.

Make sure your ferrets have a drink during the day.

Make sure someone knows where you are.

Make sure you pick up all your nets at the end of the day.

Make sure you leave everything tidy.

Make sure your ferrets and dogs get sorted out before you do when you get home.

Finally Make sure you enjoy yourself :D
