This year they've been fireing which makes all the difference but I do have less eggs than this time last year! either way I would rather have less eggs but more fertile and Hopefully more will Hatch but we'll see! Tony Hi Mate..this will be a good year...high percentage hatch of Goshawks in Norfolk...Man U will win the premier and champions league..and us poor Mackems have barely avoided relegation and live to fight another year in the premier league...just !!! I'm a bit on tender Hooks at the minute mate! its now a waiting game to see what comes out and what doesn't, I lost a Peregrine at pip due to Breaching, Hopefully I won't get any more like that but I can't count my chickens before they hatch so to speak. Just taped the rings on and put my young Harris's back! everything went smoothly just hoping on more of the same in the future with the rest. There'll be a good few Goshawkers on the site this coming season! It'll be good to hear a few stories and perhaps get out with some lads for a few Beers and a crack, anything got to be better than hearing about them Red Crows all the time ... Re the coming season...I cant wait to pick a Gos up again and the sooner the better..surely I must get at least one fertile egg from the four she is sitting...but I aint holding my breath.. So..we may get a day or two in flying together this season..got to get this house finished and the back garden sorted between now and August / September so I can have an early start and no distractions.. If I put 6 Gos chicks under her she'll go Broody and raise the lot, she also has no problem with me entering the aviary if I wanted to Handle the chicks should there be any problems...
