theres some cracking sport on salisbury plain, head for perham down just outside tidworth by the ranges,you could walk for days without seeing anyone,plenty of variety aswell,get urself a lurcher mate,youll see why when u have a mooch. welcome by the way.

that used to be the case a few years back now its a completely different story ... the plain is full of training troops 24/7 and to add to that there are double shifts of range wardens on and police patrols including helicopters that are targeting hunters and illegal motor cross riders ... i can guarentee you that you WILL get a tug out there now ..........

im not far from andover my uncles up lamping the plains 2-3 nights a week i tag along now and then :whistling:

 

you wouldnt be lamping on the training area that often without getting caught. im part of the land warfare training centre

based on the edge of the plain, i know EVERY exercise thats going on for the whole of 2009, i wouldnt be going out lamping

on there and i know where is safe and where isnt. but i also know that the plain is getting ruined by the rabbit population,

measures will soon be put into place to deal with this. but im affraid few, if any of you civilians will be allowed access to hunt

them.
