Jordan 1 Posted November 20, 2005 Report Share Posted November 20, 2005 Well got up bright and early(6am) to be met by thick fog and a hard frost. Still not to be put off loaded up the gear and headed off. Got to some new permission to be met by clear skies and a nice forst on the ground totally different to what it was like at home netted up the first burrow testing out my new homemade quickset long net. Works a dream. Unfortunately no rabbits were at home despite all the signs looking good Moved into a bit of woodland and found a burrow that looked ok ended up with one rabbit from there Got our spirits up a bit. Picked up and decided to move on we flushed alot of rabbits from the cover but no earths for them to go down Quote Link to post

Jordan 1 Posted November 20, 2005 Author Report Share Posted November 20, 2005 These rabbits were stubborn didnt want to bolt at all so the spade came out had to dig about 3-4ft right sod to dig but worth it. Moved further up the hedge and found a nice small 5 holer to finish the day as light was fading. easy hole. ready and waiting Got im Quote Link to post
