Roe Buck

Recommended Posts

This has gone through my mind several times over the years so who can help please.....The question is....why, when all the females have virtually identical seasons is the Roe Buck season so different to all the other males?

CWD who have only just had a season introduced, they have the Buck at a slightly different time to all the other males as well.

Thanks for taking the time to help guys..I did appreciate it was to do with the silly season but the dates for male/female of the Roe still don't seem to add up in the same way as the other species, especially the Buck.

Perhaps its more to do with actual control/commercialism rather than parenting.

Thanks for the help.

Cheers

The roe deer have a diffrent life to the rest in a way.I have no knowledge of munty/CWD but fallow/red/sika all have the same kind of cyicle ie rut.Not sure on fallow but red/sika cast & regrow antlers at diffrent times of the year roe are growing them & some starting to clean & red/sika are casting them to re grow theres.
