maty j 6 Posted January 16, 2008 Report Share Posted January 16, 2008 Even the black braid on matyJ's pic above looks way to thick IMO i dont know what size that is 'loader but its a magnum net and was awkward to get the knots to bite real tight so i put some chopped up inner tube bads over them. on the others i have its only about 1.5-2mm braid and i find that much better for gripping the grommits, i still use the bands over them just incase. TOMO 24,876 Posted January 16, 2008 Report Share Posted January 16, 2008 6MM BRAID BLOODY HELL ive seen many nets rigged a few yrs back with black running lines. it wanst braid it was a polyetherleen(?) and they were bloody awful The problem now is what the feck do I do with the black braid that I took of the net and replaced with 3mm....lol make a rope swing??
