It looks more than 50 yards therefore I'd almost certainly have drowned! lol

I had a strong urge to kayak or whatever over to it mind. No idea at the time the crack with it, whether it was inhabited, private or whatever.

Must have been Pretty crazy back in those days. Romans didn't dare venture over antonines wall.

Wasn't there a legion who disappeared when they tried it?

Bet there were some f****d up folk roaming those mountains back then.

It's still going strong Bob. In fact just recently started making wheel alloys.

Aye it's a decent place to live just wish the high Street wasn't so tourist oriented. But Amazon is my friend lol

Yes saw that they were making alloys now SH, keep the guys in work, but I believe the pulp mill in Corpach was in a bit of trouble a while back.

I've stayed in a few hotels round your way over the years, like the Moorings in particular, love it when Neptune's staircase is busy, also hired a chalet at Banavie a few summers running, but haven't been over for a year or two now.

The pulp mill is closed now I think. BSW own it now.i stay just over the road from banavie. It's heaving up here now. That's the tourist season starting to kick in. Also we are in a heatwave up here past week. It's hot as f**k now just back from a walk this morning.
