Fury bottling bellew

Recommended Posts

Bellew trying to talk his way into another nice little earner straight after beating Haye for the second time, Fury having none of it yet. Haye at end of career,Ward retired,Fury just coming back after over a 2 year lay off, see the pattern there ? Plenty of sharks to fight at Cruiser where he was,or Stevenson said he would rematch him in  UK ! Did you forget Bellew has openly said he would not fight Wilder or Joshua ?

spot on mick , Bellew  as you say looking for another big payday true mate, and i bet  Fury  will fight him once they between  the 2 of them stoke the fight up more , prob happen after Fury  next fight, the only reason Bellew wont fight Wilder or joshua   , is he knows he get  flattened   in   3-4 rounds , and it send him back to  cruiser weight  where he really belongs , Haye done well out of it fighting at heavy , but he never been a proper heavyweight .

Im a fan of Bellew and he is the best pundit in Boxing, very rare if ever he gets it wrong. He has done well in his career and who can blame him for looking for the big pay days with a little less risk. Like I mentioned he said he wont fight Joshua or Wilder because of there size/attributes but hes willing to fight the bigger Fury. Fury is not recognised as a big puncher as well as coming off a long layoff so fair play to Bellew if he can get the fight with Fury later on in the year, Bellew is clever and knows the risk/reward involved for him with certain fights . Fury is still too big/good for Bellew however but it would be a good fight as both would build the fight up and put on a good fight .

Genuinely glad to see Fury getting himself in shape and back in the mixer. For me though, one ‘warm up’ fight, then in with ranked opposition. No doubt Fury has ability, and he’s done enough mouthing about being the best and the lineal champ, so time to get in and prove it now.

Hopefully the likes of Warren and the team Fury now has round him can steer him away from all the social media rubbish, which I think has seriously damaged his popularity and credibility..., or at least help him to manage it better. The big guy deserves to leave a legacy in the sport and hopefully now, win, lose or draw, it won’t be one full of ‘what ifs’ and regret.
