Decent day out

Went for a drive yesterday 

first spot nowt bugger all after 4 hrs

drove to another spot and bingo

2 little 1lb jack

3 8lb jack

3 4 lb jack

1 3lb walleye

hit one fish and it snapped two of thr hooks off my treble

Those walleye look alot like the zander we have over here, you catch them all spinning from the bank?

yes the walleye are probably close relatives,decent fish to eat over here.

i dont eat the pike,but most people do.

 

all caught spinning off the bank,off back up there in a few mins to see if i can pull more out

Went back up there again. Bit slower than the other day as the river was down a foot atleast and a few thunderstorms circling around. Clouds were black as harrys wife

Its not as rosey as one would think

but its alright at times.

fishing license is 38 dollars

see a piece of water and go fish it.

certain rules and daily bag limits.

i catch and release unless its a 3lb plus walleye

I'm no expert on the Zander, haven't seen one for years but that was my first though as well!
