Javea is quite nice,i rented a villa there for 6 months once, fantastic summer with lots of good memories :)

How's it compare to other places in Spain you been to? Beach? Pubs? Restaurants? Nightlife?

I was there working mate, with a couple of guys, lots of restaurants there, none of us drank so pubs were irrelevant, benidorm was 35? minutes away,we pretty much just enjoyed the villa and the pool, sadly we weren't party animals.

Yeah i don't want a party area but would like a few decent pubs that do some decent grub.

Theres plenty of decent pubs down in javea mate, there was/is a Scottish guy owned a popular one,he also owns sparta gym there, theres a british chippy there near the gym, your spoilt for choice for restaurants, and theres a british bakery who do a nice breakfast.

Forget the chippy , go to the tapas bar on the steps in the old town ...?

edited to say you will be lost for choice with restaurants and watering holes , it’s endless and September is a cracking time , everything is calming down after the summer rush .The weather is normally in the mid to high twenty’s..

We took the kids to corallejo in fuerteventuru, youngest was 16 m old, just over 3 hr flight they both slept there and back, plenty to do, good grub at hotel and plenty of choice if you want to eat out etc, shopping, water park within 300 metres of our hotel, day trips/nights out to sister hotels in lanzorote, would go again, we went end of October so was cooler for the kids, weather was still good mind. ?Believe it or not you won't go wrong going to Turkey, they go out of their way for you and the kids,
