Rebel 831
I'm after picking my bit of shamrock and heading off to mass now. Straight back then heading out to watch a neighbouring pack for a few hours. Back to the local to watch the rugby match. Our closing day is tomorrow, at a good meet, so looking forward to that as well. If only every day could be like St Patrick's Day, haha.

mackay 3,044
Fair play to anyone proud of their heritage and feel the need to celebrate a national day. Just listened to an interview on radio 2 and the host (not irish) wished his guest (not irish) a happy St Patricks day, that's when it goes a bit ott. Then you get the pretend paddys over here, about as Irish as Idi Amin , the majority having never set foot in Ireland and their only connection being their gt gt grannie knew a guy that knew a woman who died during the potato famine, they proceed to dress up as fecking leprechauns, drink guiness and lament how they miss their homeland to all and sundry. The genuine Irish don't carry on like these clowns.
