Blackbriar 8,568
Stay out the black and in the red...................... 'Gentleman' Jim Bowen, the comedian and TV host has died, aged 80. Like many others here, I'm sure, I have very fond memories of Sunday teatime spent watching "Bullseye". My late dad was a big fan and a keen darts player - I can't watch a re-run of old episodes, without thinking of him ! "Look at what you could have won !".............and no-one ever said "I live in Tamworth, what would I want a speedboat for ?" Jim always came across as a genuinely nice bloke, and a great host, with a talent for putting nervous contestants at ease. Rest in peace, Jim.

Meece 1,957
Did anyone actually win the speedboat ? It was a bit of a p take when the contestant had failed. Its a bit like saying "your a bit of a thicko, arent you".
