Your elected overlords have decreed that these are cruel. Banning sh*t for the sake of it seems to be a traditional and regular use of taxpayers money. Don't we wish they were this enthusiastic in inv

if i get mine chipped will it make the dog run faster and leaner?

I didn't realise that shock collars came with those kinds of attachments. My knowledge of pornography is clearly more conservative than I ever thought...

I was given one that vibrates and the other setting is a high pitched whistle. Never used it or needed it but some wee scrote taxed it from a shop and gave it to me lol

If anyone has need for it let me know you can have it.

Tried to pm you bud not sure if pm gone through. Atb

The vibrate-whistle can be seriously handy for recall. Shock collars can be cruel in the wrong hands but how many dog haven't had to be PTS because the collars sorted out their bad had habits?

I have two terriers that, if I didn't have bark collars on them during the day, I wouldn't be able to keep. They're barking b*****ds and the collars keep them in check, they get a beep if they bark once and if they bark again within 30 seconds they get a shock.

These legislations are an absolute disgrace.

It's lobbied by these modern 'canine behaviourists' that run training classes and f**k about playing flyball and agility. They think because they can train a dog to fetch a f***ing tennis ball in a sterile barn environment that "you should only use positive reinforcement" is somehow applicable to high drive proper working dogs.

Fair enough, in a lot of cases a talented and experienced handler shouldn't and wont need one. They know how to enter a dog and how to avoid pitfalls that lead to unwanted behaviour. But how many dogs get wasted on the road to that level? I'm a shit dog handler by my own opinion & admission, I'll never win a trial and I have no great desire too. I just want to work and hunt dogs.

People don't like these e-collars because they are a form of positive punishment and the narrative states that "that is bad"..... yet we punish our dogs negatively and positively all the time through many other forms of stimuli without even registering it. A collar just allows greater reach and instant timing.

Plenty of folks are using them as a negative reinforcement aid too. Using the electric stimulus as an irritant which when removed reinforces a desired behaviour.

IMO it's one step closer to the goal of the working of dogs being unjustifiable and illegal.

Bunch of do gooders sticking there oar in. Loads of dogs will be dumped and given up or just have a dam good kicking when they are hanging off a sheep thanks to the do gooders. If your intention is to be cruel you can use the end of your foot if your inclined that way.

Best do this if you want to keep them
