That sounds like a right nightmare Si

What do you reckon caused it?

....... it's not like you're new to hunting with a springer mate.

He is not kidding Jon he was hitting the little bell at 60mtrs not 60 yrds

shot for shot with the 35 mate

he could not miss if he tried to mate

its nice to cock even better to shoot

next to no recoil if any .

i would say he is a crap shot

but after seeing him shoot that 97 with two of the best shots with a 97 iv seen

out hunting on Marks land

i cant say that lol,

I think its a case of the rifle is to light for him

with the PS it was the for hand as the stock was to wide for him so it did not sit right

in his hand ...thats not the issue with the 35 as the four hand on the 35 is thin

I think its to light for him

just my opinion mind

The back of the stock is low and long to suit open sights jon so to get the right eye relief I’ve got to stick me neck out like a giraffe!!! Lol

its going to a young lad so I might have to shorten the rear for him if he wants to use a scope!

besides that trauma the the 510’s ace :)

The 77s a bit like that - although I've got a small scope on low mounts, I still have to put my head forward a little.

I reckon both rifles would benefit from an adjustable cheek piece and butt pad.

From 27.3 yds onwards, only hold over will ever be required with .22, or .177, when did you last shoot a wood pigeon at 12 - 15 yds - please teach me field craft this good :notworthy:.

Don`t forget incline or decline - remember  !

I was just pointing out that there is hold under with twenty two, I know you wasn't on about that too... attempting to get the usual hair dryer treatment but you didn't bite. Again :D
