Bruised legs

My bitch has bruised/swollen the top of her front legs on loose fence wire that was covered with growth, she was on the trail of a rabbit with only one thing in mind...

Applying some frozen veg on the areas the now , anything else recommened?

Myself and mates use a local stream for swollen injurys on the track dogs works. One of them has a Mag box and once a dog uses it a few time they love it minute u open the kennel they go over and stand waiting to get in.

Keep an eye on swelling, bit of metacam if you have any in.

Mine had same last week legs doubled in size and went black with bruising, loxicom every day and hose pipe them down with freezing water few times a day soon sorted back down to normal in few days.

Ibuprofen is supposed to be toxic for dogs.

plenty of rest, you could go to any equestrian supplier, and get some rubs for strains and bruising in horses. personally I'm agreat believer in using aloe vera and witch hazel gel for using on my dogs, g,ood old fashioned treatment, worth a try. atb.

finding the top of her front legs on the inside is soft bruised and saggy/watery there a fair bit of discomfort but still trying to move around like normal, stubborn git
